Pink just posted a stellar update on her Instagram showing her going water skiiing. The “Get The Party Started” singer has shared how she’s been hanging out at home in light of the Coronavirus causing many artists to postpone their tours and concerts. Mostly spending time with family, P!ink (real name Alecia Beth Moore) can be seen taking photos with her children and her husband on several occasions.
The 40-year-old R&B artist has been focused on being the best mom she can be, especially after her 3-year-old son contracted Covid-19. Her latest photo enjoying water skiing showing off her ‘thunder thighs’ really shows her resiliency!
At first, Alecia said she didn’t know what was actually going with with her son Jameson Moon, telling Ellen DeGeneres (at the time of an interview) that it was extremely frightening.
“It was terrifying at one point.” Pink explained that not only did her son start displaying symptoms, but she herself actually contracted the virus! “Then I got sick…In hindsight it all makes sense, but when it’s happening, it’s such a weird experience you just don’t put it together until after the fact, or until days go by.”
Pink thought that she was going to die after contracting the virus and found herself realizing that she could actually leave her family without a mother.
“I have this inhaler that I use — a rescue inhaler — and I couldn’t function without it, and that’s when I started to get really scared,” she said, “because of all the stuff, you can’t help but watch the news every day and I’m like, ‘Oh my god. Wow, all the crazy stuff I did, like this is it? This is the way it ends?'”
Of course, Pink survived and she has been in the best shape of her life lately. She has been very transparent on social media sharing how she is finding flaws with her appearance, but acknowledges the changes as a part of her growing older, not weaker.
“Letter to self; Dear Me, you’re getting older.I see lines. Especially when you smile.Your nose is getting bigger..You look(and feel) weird as you get used to this new reality. But your nose looks like your kids, and your face wrinkles where you laugh. And yeah you idiot..u smoked.”
“”I’m fortunate because I’ve never really depended on my looks,” she said in another tweet. “I’ve decided that my talent and my individuality is far more important than my face.”
This gave rise to many fans sharing how much they admire and support Pink for her willingness to express her struggles and her triumphs in such an open way.
It is one of the reasons Pink continues to impress as a music artist, performer, social media influencer, and mother to two awesome kids!
