Michelle Williams Praises Cardi B After Rapper Covers Gospel Song During WAP Celebration

Destiny’s Child singer Michelle William is showing Cardi B love after the “WAP” singer belted out one of her gospel songs.

Earlier this week, Cardi posted a video of herself celebrating her song “WAP” topping the Billboard charts. In the video, Cardi dances around while showing off the news from her phone.

In the end, Cardi sings “When Jesus say yes, nobody can say no. NOBODY!” The lyric comes from Michelle’s gospel song “Say Yes” which features Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland.

Cardi captioned the video, “Number fuckin one !!!!!NUMBER 1 !!!My 4th number 1 on @billboard hot 100....I’m just so thankful I want to hug the LORD !! The celebration video, which included Cardi's rendition, clearly caught the eye of Michelle who reposted another video of Cardi singing “Say Yes.” She showered the rapper with praise and told her fans to watch themselves before commenting anything reckless.

Michelle wrote, “She’d be so lit in a choir!!! Let me create a bomb all star choir!!! Who else should be in the choir?? @iamcardib is gonna be the choir president. All choirs have one!! All the judges can stay out the comments! Love youuuuuuuuuu! #WhenJesusSayYes #ThankYouLordForEveryYes and No.”

One fan commented, "That “yes B??ch” is SOOOOOO me at church when the choir kills one of my favorite songs! ???‍♂️." Another wrote, "I just knew your notifications were in shambles yesterday ?"

Cardi hasn't replied to Michelle's love yet. She was busy recreating an iconic look by Pamela Anderson.
