Meek Mill is sharing the Christmas cheer!

The rapper became a personal miracle worker when he gave almost two dozen families a chance to fully enjoy the festive season when he paid the bail for some incarcerated women during Christmas weekend. His kind gesture was reportedly prompted by his own experience when he landed behind bars in 2008 and 2017.

Meek Mill Facilitates The Release Of 20 Women From A Correctional Institution

For longer than anybody can recall, Christmas has allowed people to show their kind side amid the celebrations. Despite that, it came as quite a shock when Mill revealed that he paid the bail of 20 women who were incarcerated at a correctional facility within the Philadelphia area.

The rapper's goodwill secured the release of the women, who otherwise would not have been able to pay their bail, on Christmas Eve. Within hours, some of them were joined by their kids and other loved ones in the pre-holiday reunion laden with emotion.

"It was devastating for me to be away from my son during the holidays when I was incarcerated. So I understand what these women and their families are going through," Mill, real name Robert Williams, began in a statement.

In case you missed it, the "All Eyes on You" hitmaker was found guilty of possessing drug-related items and second-degree possession of a loaded firearm by a previously convicted felon in 2008.

That conviction earned him an 11 to a 23-month prison sentence and eight years probation by a Philadelphia County Superior Court judge. Luckily, the 35-year-old regained his freedom after seven months in early 2009, getting a five-year probation deal.

Mill was sentenced for a second time for violating his parole in 2017. This time, he served five months at a Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution. As for his Christmas deed, the "Dreams and Nightmares" rapper continued in his statement:

"No one should have to spend the holidays in jail simply because they can't afford bail. I'm grateful for the opportunity to help these women be with their families and loved ones during this special time of year."

Besides bailing them out, the REFORM co-founder handed each woman a gift card to purchase groceries or gifts, per PEOPLE. Mill founded the non-profit organization alongside Shawn "JAY-Z" Carter, Michael Rubin, Robert Kraft, and others in 2018.

Since then, the criminal justice reform advocate has dedicated his time to helping those who need it. In fact, the rapper has assisted in passing 16 bills in ten states within America to create "stable communities, stronger families, and greater public safety for all."

As part of his organization's annual "Season of Giving" events for 2022, over 50 children affected by the criminal justice system were treated to a handful of surprises. One such surprise was the kids spending quality time with Mill, and the Philadelphia Eagles players, including Darius Slay, Jordan Mailata, Avonte Maddox, Dallas Goedert, and Jalen Hurts.

The kids also got the opportunity to visit the Wells Fargo Center, where they interviewed the 76ers head coach, Doc Rivers, before enjoying a game in VIP boxes with their new basketball merchandise.

The "Wheels Up!" Star Blasts BET For Giving His Baby Mama A Slot In Their Awards Chypher

Mill shared how displeased he was with this year's BET Awards show after he watched his baby mama, Milan Rouge, perform below his standards during the event. The Blast reported that the "Lord Knows / Fighting Stronger" rapper took to Twitter to tell off the entertainment network, writing:

""Ion like "bet" got my bm tryna spit bars for attention/clout … it's like a setup embarrassment made to look like opportunity! and I'm with the "women hustler empowerment motion" but y'all drawin .. Pure manipulation."

One hour after the initial tweet, the "Dreams" actor reopened the social media app to clap back at critics who called him out for not supporting his baby mama, tweeting:
