Mandy Rose On Joining WWE NXT
Mandy Rose first entered the WWE in 2015 and made her RAW debut in 2017, but she was never expecting to join the NXT.
Shortly after the news broke, she released a statement, saying, “I didn’t even know why I was going to NXT. I’m a firm believer at the end of the day, I looked at it as an opportunity, as a new way to kind of rebrand myself. I think we all need to change as we develop and grow.
Continuing on the topic, the now former WWE star admitted, “I think for me, it was just a huge opportunity and a blank canvas to use this as something that could be really cool. I didn’t look at any of the negatives. I think that was a big part of it for me. I think a lot of people if they were to get the call to go back to NXT, they would ask a million questions. They’d be like why, and it’s normal, obviously.”
However, times have since changed as Mandy Rose was recently released from the World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. due to sensual photos of herself going viral.
“Some of you are engaged with outside third parties using your name and likeness in ways that are detrimental to our company,” then-CEO Vince McMahon said in 2020, per New York Post.“It is imperative that these activities be terminated within the next 30 days (by Friday, October 2, 2020). Continued violations will result in fines, suspension, or termination at WWE’s discretion.”
