Tory Lanez may be behind bars awaiting sentencing for shooting Megan Thee Stallion but Christmas dinner wasn't all that dull for him, as well as the other inmates of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
Here's the down-low on Tory Lanez's Christmas dinner, and his last meal as a free man before he got arrested in front of his friends and family for shooting "WAP" singer Megan Thee Stallion in the foot, something he still denies.
Tory Lanez Got Pizza Before His Conviction
Tory Lanez whose legal name is Daystar Peterson was accused of not just shooting Megan Thee Stallion aka Megan Pete in the foot, but also got charged with three felonies: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
Earlier this week, a jury of seven women and five men deliberated for just one day before convicting the 30-year-old Canadian rapper of the same, which could lead to up to 22 years in prison and deportation to Canada post that.
When the jury announced their guilty verdict, a pink-attired Lanez showed no visible reaction, even when he was handcuffed and taken away.
His father, Sonstar Peterson waited for his son and the jury to leave the courtroom before leaping up and shouting, "This wicked system stands judged before God almighty!" As the deputies closed in on him to escort him outside, he turned his ire on the two prosecutors, yelling, "You two are evil, wicked people. You know exactly what you did."
He was then removed from the courtroom although he continued to spew in the hallway, and members of the media and the public had to wait for him to be escorted outside the premises before they were allowed to leave.
Lanez's last meal as a free man happened earlier that day in downtown LA, as he and his crew grabbed some pizza as the jury deliberated over the trial.
Not Too Bad A Christmas Dinner For Tory Lanez
Now that Lanez is behind bars, he is just another inmate of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, especially since there have been even bigger celebrities gracing these very prison cells. So Sunday night dinner, aka Christmas supper for the inmates was the same for all, including Tory Lanez, and frankly, it does not sound unappealing, to say the least. Lanez is being held at the Men's Central Jail just a little outside of Chinatown and it seems to have quite an extensive menu. In fact, the LA jails also boast religious and/or medical diet options so inmates can choose from halal, vegan, diabetic, and everything in between! For Christmas dinner, things seemed a little traditional so there was quite the menu: "4 oz of roast turkey, 4 oz of mashed potatoes, 2 oz of gravy, 1 oz of cranberry sauce, 4 oz of green beans, 1 cup of tossed green salad, a dinner roll, a pumpkin muffin, and a chocolate milk."The freedom may be gone but at least there was a treat for the taste buds...

Megan Thee Stallion Finally Has "Peace" This Christmas
Megan Thee Stallion testified during the trial that Lanez fired a handgun at the back of her feet, yelling at her to "Dance, b--ch" as she walked away from an SUV parked on Hollywood Hills in the summer of 2020. She further stated that she was walking away from him after a heated argument over his music and that she ended up needing surgery to remove the fragments from her foot.
At the time of the incident, Lanez was a rising star in the world of music via his mix tapes but Megan was almost established and has only risen in fame ever since. Not only did she win a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2021, but her song "Savage" featuring Beyoncé, reached Number 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Plus, who could ever forget her and Cardi B's "WAP?"
After the verdict, Adele happily announced to the world that she was on Megan's side, as she mentioned at her Vegas residency show that she hopes Meg has a "very, very, Merry, Merry Christmas," now that the trial is over and on her side!
