Prince Andrew has taken a break from his public exile to attend a Christmas church outing with the royal family. The 62-year-old joined other senior royal members to participate in the annual event held at Sandringham.
Prince Andrew has mostly avoided appearing in public since stepping down from his senior royal position after his alleged scandalous involvement with Jeffery Epstein caused him to get sued by one of the victims.
The outing comes a few days after it was reported that King Charles III told the Duke of York he is "on his own," completely severing any official ties with the Firm.

Prince Andrew Greeted Onlookers After The Service
Prince Andrew made a rare public appearance, joining his brother King Charles III and fellow members of the royal family for their traditional Christmas Day church outing.
According to People Magazine, the 62-year-old accompanied the family on their stroll to Norfolk's Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Sandringham. After the service, he was spotted talking with the priest and joining the royals to address the onlookers gathering outside.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the two daughters of Prince Andrew, went on the customary Christmas outing with their husbands. Christopher Woolf, Beatrice's stepson, also joined them.
Following the event, the royal family spent Christmas at Sandringham House, which marks the first time they have done so since 2019.
During the celebration, it is typical for the Queen to give a broadcast. However, due to her demise this year, Britons watched King Charles' inaugural Christmas speech in line with the annual tradition.
The Royal Was Linked With Convicted Sex Offender Jeffrey Epstein
Andrew has steered clear of the media and most public outings since getting caught in a web of scandals in the wake of his ties to convicted sex offender Epstein being uncovered.
One Virginia Giuffre had brought a sexual assault lawsuit against him in 2019, in which she alleged she was trafficked by Epstein and compelled to sleep with the royal while she was still underage.
The scandal was further worsened by Andrew's bombshell interview with the BBC, where he denied having to do anything with his accuser. Since then, the case has generated a massive outcry from several Britons, voicing their disgust at the scandal.
Following the bombshell that made headlines in 2019, he stepped back from his royal duties to prevent the monarchy from being smeared by his scandalous actions.
In February 2020, Andrew and his accuser reached an out-of-court settlement for an unknown sum.
Prince Andrew Still Attends Family Events
The scandal caused Prince Andrew to lose his military decorations and titles following a declaration by the now-deceased Queen Elizabeth in January. It also implied that the embattled sexagenarian could no longer use the royal description, "His Royal Highness," in any official capacity. However, he was allowed to retain his title as the Duke of York.
Prince Andrew still shows up at family gatherings even though he no longer performs royal responsibilities. In March, he attended a Service of Thanksgiving in honor of the late Prince Phillip in the company of his mother, the Queen.
Later, in September, he made an appearance at her funeral service, when he took part in the customary royal procedures used to bury her. Except for the Vigil of the Princes in Westminster Hall, where he joined his brothers to keep a symbolic vigil around their mother's coffin, he was not permitted to wear his military uniform throughout the event.
Prince Andrew Allegedly Evicted From The Royal Fold
In the wake of King Charles taking over the top role of the monarch after Queen Elizabeth's demise, it is claimed that he has completely severed any ties the Duke of York has with the Palace.
According to Metro, a source said that the new monarch just told his troubled brother that he is now "on his own."
The choice to keep Prince Andrew more at a distance suggests that the monarchy is still troubled by his infamous association with the late pedophile financier Epstein.
The Duke was instructed not to utilize Buckingham Palace for business purposes anymore, implying that he could no longer use the address for any future communication and that his employees may now be out of a job.
Per the news outlet, a source said: "Any presence at the Palace is officially over…The King has made it clear. He isn't a working royal. He's on his own."
