Former 1D Member Liam Payne Confesses He's 'NEVER' Been Good At Singing

Former One Direction member Liam Payne admits to being bad at singing. The artist took to social media to joke around with friends. While trying to create a fun video, he was asked by a pal of his to sing to which he declined.

Payne recently went viral for using a strange mix of accents at the 2022 Oscars, and he recently made fun of the moment by attempting to do an impression of the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley. He is currently in a serious relationship with girlfriend Kate Cassidy.

The singer, who was a former member of One Direction before going solo, took to his Instagram story on Thursday and admitted he's never been good at singing as he posed in a sexy way for the camera.

While trying out a bright light for a video, Payne asked his friend, Hadley Anne, what he was supposed to do with it. "Am I supposed to look sexy, like...?" he wondered as he struck several poses for the camera.

His friend then suggested he sang a song, to which Payne confessed, "Can't do it. Never been any good."

Payne recently made fun of his viral accent moment at the 2022 Oscar awards. While talking about the Will Smith/Chris Rock slap at the Oscars, the singer used what sounded like a strange blend of American and Irish accents.

In a nod to the viral moment, Payne published several clips in which he attempted an Elvis impersonation.

In the video, Payne's new girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, could be seen covering her face as the singer turned the camera to capture her. She had on white shorts and a pink hoodie while laughing at his funny Elvis impersonation.

He captioned the video, "I do accents too... it's that time of night but it is Christmas," according to the Daily Mail.

In June, the singer disclosed that welcoming his son, Bear, ruined his relationship with his ex, Cheryl. The "Strip that down" crooner welcomed his son with the "Girls aloud" singer in 2017.

Payne spoke candidly on Logan Paul's "Impaulsive" podcast, where he admitted his struggles with being a dad at 23.

"I like to talk to other new dads. You don't know what is coming and it's different. And to be honest with you, it ruined a relationship for me at that point but for all the right reasons. I was so excited for him to be born that I was actually worried if I wouldn't love him enough," he said per Daily Mail.

Payne, 29, also had noteworthy praises for his ex, saying, "She is the best mum in the world," and he couldn't ask for more.

"I get to take my son to school one or two times a week and it's the best thing. The relationship we have now as friends has only grown more.

"We broke up for a reason and now she gives me full autonomy of my life and to do what I do and I know he's (Bear's) taken care of. He is all she cares about and I couldn't ask for more. They live like three minutes from my house," he noted.

The singer has made it quite clear that his relationship with Cassidy, his new girlfriend, is serious, as the two have been spotted holding hands in public several times. Per Daily Mail, the couple attended Halloween in London costumed as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee.

According to the news outlet, a source said, "They are mad about each other. Kate is a wild girl so Liam is definitely in for a fun ride. She is always out in nightclubs and seems to be loving London."
