Tekashi 6ix9ine was treated for a broken wrist at a New York hospital, but it was not dangerous gang activity that landed him in the emergency room...turns out, the injury was courtesy of his bulldog, Poppy!!
According to reports, Tekashi 69 was not trolling his fans by putting up a video of himself getting fitted for a cast on his right arm. In fact, the rainbow rapper actually BROKE his wrist in a bizarre accident after falling over his little French Bulldog, Poppy.
According to reports, on Tuesday morning around 3 AM, the rapper went downstairs in his New York home to grab a snack.
As he proceeded down, he accidentally tripped over his 1-year-old bulldog and reached out with his right hand to break his own fall. The problem is, his hand got caught in the stairway railing and broke a bone in the top of his wrist.
Apparently, Tekashi actually went back to bed after feeling just a bit of pain but realized it may be broke after waking up in pain the next day.
As we reported, Tekashi was hospitalized the next day for treatment of the wrist. The rapper posted video or medical personnel placing a cast on his right arm.
"I got caught lacking in these streets :/" 6ix9ine captioned the video. Of course, insinuating his dangerous behavior of walking the streets of New York in broad daylight may have finally caught up with him. But, nope, it was just his baby french bulldog!
The arm cast is reportedly going to stay on for the next 3-5 weeks, but that's not going to slow him down!!
Check Out The Video!
Tekashi 6ix9ine wasted no time after being treated for the wrist break and headed to a New York mall, where he was MOBBED by a huge crowd of fans who noticed him shopping.
In the video, you can see that the rainbow rapper is sporting a new shoulder sling, which is holding his newly casted arm up in place.
The video is NUTS! Tons of fans are yelling his name and asking him to drop some cash on them. As you know, Tekashi was out in New York last week handing out $100 bills to strangers.
Bottom Line, Tekashi doesn't seem worried about the danger he faces back in the streets. But, he better be careful of that dog!!
