Luann de Lesseps Confirms 'RHONY' Season 13 Will Include New Cast Members, Talks Sonja Morgan's Face Lift

Luann de Lesseps is looking forward to the upcoming 13th season of "The Real Housewives of New York City," which is expected to begin production later this year, and claims fans will soon be meeting some new cast members.

During a new interview, Luann teased the casting shakeup before addressing Sonja Morgan's $75,000 facelift and Ramona Singer's feud with Leah McSweeney.

“There’s definitely gonna be some new housewives," Luann told Extra TV before quickly adding, "Maybe. You didn’t hear it from me.”

During filming on the 12th season of "The Real Housewives of New York City," former star Tinsley Mortimer got engaged to her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Scott Kluth, and after doing so, she moved to Chicago to be closer to her fiancé and, as fans saw weeks ago, quit filming with her cast mates. So, when it comes to new women, the show is certainly in need of at least one more lady to join the show for its new episodes.

One week after she and her cast mates united to film the season 12 reunion special for "The Real Housewives of New York City," Luann joked that when it came to the taping, they “had to speak a little louder.”

She then addressed the $75,000 face lift her co-star, Sonja Morgan, recently underwent.

“She had her face lifted. It is no secret. I saw her actually a couple of weeks ago out here in the Hamptons and she looked really good,” Luann shared.

Looking back on Ramona's dramatic meltdown at her filmed birthday party weeks ago, Luann admitted that when it came to Ramona's threats to quit the show, she didn't hear anything of the sort.

“Everybody heard her quitting the show. I didn’t hear that but she was definitely upset,” Luann recalled.

Luann then admitted that Ramona tends to be quite offended by Leah's sometimes wild behavior, which was exhibited during her bash.

“Ramona judges Leah much more harshly than she does somebody like Sonja. Sonja was breaking tables and dancing on glass,” Luann noted.

As for the drama of the 12th season, Luann said that there is always plenty of wild moments between her and her co-stars during their cast trips before teasing their visit to Mexico and promising season 12 was "one to remember.”

“There is a lot of flirting going on. This season is so good," she gushed.
