“90 Day Fiancé” star Paul Staehle got emotional on social media amid his nasty custody battle with his estranged wife Karine Martins.

Over the weekend, the reality star posted a throwback video of him holding his son Pierre’s hand. He captioned a photo, “No Matter Where You Are I Will Always Love & Cherish You.”

Paul told his followers it was Father’s Day in Brazil, Karine’s home country, but he wasn’t with him. The reason being Karine has a restraining order against Paul which prohibits him from coming near their son.

As The Blast previously reported, Paul and Karine are in the middle of a nasty breakup. Karine recently called the police on Paul accusing him of refusing to let her leave.

Paul started recording the entire incident once the police arrived at his home. Paul told the officers Karine was free to leave but accused her of cheating on him.

He told police that Karine had an open case with Child Protective Services. Paul previously called CPS on Karine accusing her of drinking around their son, which caused a case to be opened.

After the police showdown, Karine obtained a restraining order against Paul. In the petition, she accused Paul of controlling her life and refusing to let her leave. She even claimed Paul had sexual assaulted her multiple times.

Karine wrote on social media, “All this past days I had a lot going on. As the media showed, I had issues where the police was called because I feared for my life and my son’s life which led me to ask for help and ultimately be rescued from an environment that no longer was healthy for none of us involved in the situation.”

She added, “Relationships are hard and sometimes it just can’t be fixed anymore. I need this time to organize my thoughts, work on myself and care for my son after everything have been through in the last year and half. Just to clarify, the EPO was me, I had help from a translator since I do not speak English. I also would like to state that I’m not missing. The police knows where to find me if they need me. This is a legal matter not a “media matter”. That being said it’s the first and last time I will speak about it.”
