Kourtney Kardashian took her fans on a trip down memory lane, showing some yuletide decorations that hold sentimental value to her.
The Kardashian family is known to go all out for the festive celebrations, making sure that each year is a memorable one for adults, children, and guests also. Hence, it comes as no surprise that the 43-year-old has something to hold on to from her childhood holiday memories.
The Lemme wellness founder showed her fans some sentimental holiday decorations from her childhood that always make it to her present-time Christmas decorations.
A Look Into Kourtney Kardashian’s Nostalgic Christmas Decors
Kourtney shared a snap on her Instagram stories that displayed a four-floored wooden dollhouse furnished with sofas and beds and a rocking horse, and wall lamps that still lit up.
The furnishings were mostly in red and green holiday colors. The ground floor of the makeshift house was the living room, and a miniature Santa and Christmas tree adorned with glittering lights was spotted.
“I built this with my mommy @krisjenner when I was 8years old,” she announced in the snap’s caption.
Speaking of how much sentiment this decor held, Kourtney detailed on her Poosh website, writing, “I remember being a kid and being so excited to build this dollhouse with my mom when we first got it. I still get equally as excited when I see it every year. It’s one of my most sentimental and cherished Christmas decorations!”
This dollhouse is one of many sentimental decorations the “KUWTK” star puts up yearly as she detailed more nostalgic holiday decor from her childhood in the blog post.
An item on the list was the Christopher Radko Snow globe. Kourtney explained that her mother, Jenner collects Christopher Radko ornaments yearly, and as such, they remind her of her childhood.
Another childhood memento on Kardashian’s festive decor is Elves on the shelf. According to the mom of three, she and her kids anticipate this tradition every year. In her words, “We love reading the story and watching the movie, and my kids have the best time searching for the elves each day and seeing what they’ve gotten into.”
Additionally, a GingerBread House was a souvenir from Kourtney’s younger days, as her mom loved Solvang Bakery and passed these traditions to her. Now, the new Mrs. Barker has carried on the tradition by giving Solvang gingerbread houses for Christmas to some of her friends and family.
Chip ‘n Dale figurines are also part of the Tv personality’s decorations. Although the sculpture is not from her younger days, Kardashian revealed how this cute figurine became part of her decorations. She explained, “My friend Veronique loves the holidays almost as much as I do and always finds the cutest treats to bring by. Last year, she found these Chip ‘n Dale Nutcracker figurines that I put by the fireplace in my room during the Christmas season.”
Also, making it to the reality star’s holiday glam was a snowman that held so much emotional value to her. Revealing how close this monument was to her, the socialite wrote, “Travis surprised me with this two years ago—the first Christmas we were dating. It’s a vintage snowman, lighted blow mold.”
