"Vanderpump Rules" star Danica Dow is breaking her silence after filing a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend and co-star Brett Willis to speak out on her employer's behalf. Earlier this week, it was reported that Lisa Vanderpump has been hit with a class action lawsuit filed by former hostess Olivia Hanson over the practices at SUR, the restaurant featured on the Bravo TV show. In the lawsuit, Olivia claimed Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, failed to pay employees overtime wages.
Olivia Hanson, who alleged she was a hostess at SUR from Oct. 2019 to Jan. 2020, also claimed that Lisa and Ken failed to provide proper meal and rest breaks or track staff's hours currently, according to reports. Despite going through her own drama, Danica Dow is one of the few SUR employees who are speaking out to defend Lisa Vanderpump.
As The Blast reported, Danica was granted a restraining order against SUR bartender Brett Willis after she claimed he broke into her home in the middle of the night and cut up all of the clothes with scissors.
He fired back and filed his own restraining order with accusations that she got violent with him, including allegedly choking him on one occasion. While Danica Dow has remained silent on social media since the restraining order action, she is back and dismissing the claims in the lawsuit against Lisa Vanderpump.
The "Vanderpump Rules" star, who is a manager at the West Hollywood restaurant, fiercely defended her boss on social media. "This isn’t true. I’ve never personally been, or even heard of, anybody not being paid," she posted to Twitter on Sunday, August 6. But she didn't stop there.
When someone challenged her about even working at SUR, Danica Down shot back, "Babe I’ve worked at sur for 3 years now lol. This girl who is making these claims worked there for 3 months, whom I’ve written up twice for her horrible behavior/work ethic. But believe what you want! The truth anyways comes out."
After someone else slammed Danica Dow claiming she and the rest of the cast were "ignoring" Lisa Vanderpump's "victims", she shut it down immediately. "Victims?? Lisa doesn’t even like me. Lol. I wouldn’t be defending her for any reason other than the fact that it’s not true and I feel bad for ANY business owner being falsely accused of anything," she wrote.
