Casey Woods had to suddenly leave "Bachelor In Paradise" after he suffered a medical injury.
Four months after the injury happened, the Bachelor Nation alum shared he hadn't walked since the incident and he had undergone three operations since he left the show in June. He also revealed that even after the surgeries, he still had three broken bones.
“Just to be clear, this is my foot in a cast right now. Tonight. I haven’t walked in over 4 months,” he said on social media at the time.
Now, six months after the injury, the "Bachelor In Paradise" star is speaking out again.
What Happened To Casey Woods?
Casey Woods first entered the “Bachelor” world during Season 18 of “The Bachelorette.” Most recently, the 37-year-old appeared on Season 8 of “Bachelor In Paradise,” however, he did not have the best exit.
During the October 17 episode, Woods stirred up some drama after telling fellow cast member, Brittany Galvin, that Peter Izzo was talking about her behind her back, even saying she was only here to promote her social media.
The 37-year-old then started to feel faint, even informing bartender Wells Adams that he felt dizzy and may pass out. "I just feel so much stress right now... Everyone is pissed off. I didn't think my actions would have that much of an effect. It's just eating me up inside," he said. Within seconds, he collapsed to the sand.
Medics arrived on the scene, where they treated him for a serious injury which eventually removed him from the season. However, the show did not indicate just how serious the injury was.
Casey Woods Gives Update Six Months Later
Casey Woods took to Instagram to share an update with his fans and followers now that it has been six months since the injury on set.
Sharing a photo of his X-ray, the realty television star said "Today is six months since my injury. Saw the doctor and my bones look great. Now time to heal the ligaments [and] tissue. Physical therapy begins now!"
He also uploaded a photo of his new ankle brace, which replaced the gigantic boot he has been using for the past six months.
"New swag alert!" he wrote. "Bye bye boot!"
More "Bachelor In Paradise" Drama
One of the biggest dramatic filled events this season revolved around Johnny DePhillipo and Victoria Fuller.
Bachelor Nation watched as Johnny DePhillipo got down on one knee and asked Victoria Fuller to marry him on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Unfortunately, the engagement did not last long as DePhillpo accused Fuller of cheating on him with another “Bachelor” alum — Greg Grippo.
The two talked about the rumors on the “Bachelor In Paradise ” reunion, but neither seemed to leave the stage with anything resolved.
Dephillipo spoke out after the reunion, admitting he feels better now that the finale aired. “I feel like I can finally start putting my relationship with Victoria to bed and moving on. I’m ready to put it behind me,” he told Bachelor Nation. “I was surprised by a lot at the reunion. For her to go as low as she did and bring up arguments that we had in private, it became a bit of a ‘he said,’ ‘she said’ situation. I don’t say things like that. For me, that all felt like a low blow. I think she said that stuff because was nervous, but I just really didn’t want us to go there.”
He continued, “I feel like I got the closure I needed at the reunion, but also a while ago. I know now everything I need to know to move forward with my life. We very much weren’t working out. We were on two different levels. She is used to a lifestyle that I wasn’t there for yet. She seemed to need more and it wasn’t supposed to work out right now.”
