Emily Ratajkowski Faces Backlash In Museum Bikini Photo

Emily Ratajkowski is being told she should be thrown "a sandwich." The 29-year-old supermodel and Inamorata founder, largely worshipped for her flawless bikini body, now sees comments suggesting she's too thin as a new promo photo for her 2017-founded brand goes live. EmRata appeared in a snap posted to her swim and lingerie line's Instagram on Tuesday. Replies did include thumbs-up emoji, but fans are now commenting on the willowy bombshell's weight.

The photo, seen here, came with all the whistles and bells. Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian's photographer Amber Asaly was behind the camera. In front of it, was Emily flaunting her jaw-dropping frame while in a tiny string bikini and amid attractive museum interiors. The artsy shot showed London-born Emily snapped from below, also rocking nude strappy heels, plus messy hair worn down – the blonde didn't last long.

Emily, who has seen her abs told they deserve their own award, is also no newcomer to remarks on her weight. 2019 saw the "Blurred Lines" star told to "eat a McFLurry," although such remarks have also made headlines over "thin-shaming."

Comments have been coming in. Alongside the "grotesquely thin" reply, another read: "Throw that girl a sandwich for the sake of God."

"Looks weird" was another comment. Feedback regarding weight went down the same route just yesterday, when Inamorata posted an outdoor shot of Emily in a bikini.

The Monday photo saw a fan write: "This is not it. This is a commercial for poverty. I can't support this picture. Emrata you are beautiful, you would be even more if you gained some weight."

Emily has opened up on her food habits many times. She's even mentioned the tuna sandwiches eaten in bed during quarantine. More-detailed breakdowns of the model's dietary habits have included her daily pastry that accompanies her morning coffee, plus: "I really like meat. I crave iron." Emily, who adores sushi, smoothies, and has stated lunch is a salad or a sandwich, has also spoken out on treat foods. Back in 2014, the model told Elle that she wouldn't consider herself "the type of girl who craves Doritos, but I definitely love a good cupcake sometimes. You know what I mean? Or a croissant in the morning."

Emily added that it is "like really important to give yourself a break." Ratajkowski has also updated her Instagram with giant pizza slices. Clearly, her fans weren't willing to give her a break today.
