Former ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Star Benzino Arrested For Damaging Car Of Man Who Was With His Ex-GF Althea

Former 'Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta' star Benzino has had a tumultuous relationship with his baby mama, Althea Eaton, for years. They appeared on this show together and a myriad of others as well as they share a son together. They are not together now but the drama is far from over.

According to TMZ, Benzino was arrested last Friday in Braselton, GA. The incident occurred due to him yelling at a man who was with Heart and he simply lost his emotions.

The man told police that he and Eaton had been going out for a walk in their neighborhood and when they got back to the home, Benzino was there. That's when Benzino "approached him in a threatening and harassing manner." He revealed that he didn't know Benzino at all.

The police report stated that the man was trying to get into his 2018 Chevy Silverado to leave but Benzino hit the truck multiple times with his fist. As a result, two dents were left.

Benzino had a very different recollection of the incident as he said that he was watching his son play tennis and that's when a "male came up to him and told him he was going to shoot him." Benzino also added that he didn't damage the car at all.

Police still ended up arresting Benzino and was charged with 1 count of criminal damage 2nd degree and 1 count of disorderly conduct. He was booked at Gwinnett County Jail as his bail is still set at $8,450. Benzino is still incarcerated.

Other incidents regarding Benzino and Eaton have been a trend in the last few years. In 2018, Eaton reportedly hit Benzino during a police check involving a domestic violence dispute. She was charged with misdemeanor battery and had to post $20,000 bail.

Eaton was arrested in 2016 as well after things turned physical when they were discussing trying to repair their relationship. Benzino ended up getting a restraining order against Eaton. He also accused her of not letting him see their son.

On TV One’s The Next 15, Eaton was also furious with Benzino when he was hanging out with female co-stars of the show too much. Things got so bad after appearing on these shows that they needed professional help to repair their relationship. It got to a point where they wouldn't sleep in the same bed together and Benzino started sleeping on the couch. The Next 15 didn't help because the point of the show was to assist in co-parenting and improve their own relationship.
