'Million Dollar Listing' Star James Harris on Working With Mauricio Umansky, Being A Fan Of Kyle Richards

James Harris opened up about the way in which he got his start as a realtor in Los Angeles during an appearance on Monday's episode of "Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast.

While chatting with host David, the longtime "Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles" cast member said that after moving to the States with childhood friendDavid Parnes, who is also a star of the Bravo reality series, he landed a job working with Mauricio Umansky, the husband of Kyle Richards

"David moved out to Los Angeles and we looked at each other one day and we said, dude, we got to follow our dream," James recalled.

So, because they both had a background in real estate, they decided to set up their own company. .

"We hit the ground running. We started to target the high end from the second we started the company. And then I think it was after our first year, we've hit a couple of really big deals."

After landing several major real estate deals in Los Angeles, James and David made a name for themselves.

"People started to talk about us and we became the bond street boys, not the battery boys, but the bond street boys," he shared. "People started to know our names and we were doing lots of deals."

As for how he and David connected with Mauricio, they were connected by one of their former co-workers, who was employed by The Agency at the time.

"That was five, five or six years ago. And it's been lovely ever since six years, it's been, it's been a, a match made in heaven," James admitted. "We love Mauricio. We love Kyle. We love The Agency. And honestly, I wouldn't go anywhere else."

As for whether or not he was a fan of Kyle's show, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," before connecting with Mauricio, James said he'd seen a "few episodes" and added that he is a big fan of Kyle's.

"[Kyle]'s the best. Kyle is fun. She's funny. And she's got an amazing personality. One that you just want to be around all the time. I love it to pieces. I love her," James gushed.
