Britney Spears Scrutinized In Water Bottle Poking Over Nestlé Brand

Britney Spears had every last detail of her water bottle poking video scrutinized as Us Weekly's "Hot Hollywood" podcast covered the 38-year-old's Instagram activity on July 29. The podcast, hosted by the magazine's managing editor Brody Brown as he is regularly joined by faces including Gwen Flamberg, this week covered "Toxic" singer Britney – seemingly, focusing on an update she made five days ago.

Seen below, the video showed Iranian personal trainer Sam soaking up the sun and lying on his back with closed eyes. His girlfriend had other plans, though. Britney was holding her smartphone in one hand and a bottle of Nestlé Pure Life water in the other – she used the latter to nudge Sam awake, whispering:

"Ok, so my boyfriend has no idea that I'm filming him right now."

Sam was then rudely awakened from his snooze, with Britney writing: "The key to a happy relationship is to be annoying as hell ?‍♀️??? !!!!"

The beginning of the podcast, which kicks off with "intentions" for celebrities, brought Britney's name up multiple times.

"Ok, so my intention is that Britney stop drinking Nestlé Life water," Brody said, adding: "She has far too much money for that. And, you know, get a Fiji or a Voss. Nestle is just...it's just...that is Dasani."

"Corporate issues" were suggested as the reason for Britney showing that brand of water. Britney, despite having a $47 million estate is, of course, loved for keeping it real, having made 80 trips to Target in 2018. 2020 has also seen the singer rock a Pretty Little Thing dress to celebrate Pride.

The response over on Britney's Instagram was less about the water and more about her situation amid her 2008-commenced conservatorship, though. Britney has not had control over her finances or other aspects of her legal life for 12 years now, with dad Jamie Spears running the show – he recently blasted the #FreeBritney movement as a "conspiracy theory," calling it a "joke."

Britney's Instagram, followed by 25.9 million, now sees countless fans – and celebrities – asking if she's ok. The top reply to the water video read: "Me trying to find any hidden messages in this ???."

Britney has sparked immense concern this summer, with a string of repetitive Instagram updates seeing fans wonder if she's the one posting. Despite a clap-back from the singer stating she's "authentic," fans continue to debate whether updates – often shot against a plain wall and seeing Spears in the same clothing – are indicative of her being safe.

Britney was due to appear in court on July 22 to revisit her conservatorship. The Zoom, interrupted by protesters, proved a no-show from Britney as "technical issues" were deemed behind the absence. #FreeBritney rages on, with stars including Ariel Winter and Ruby Rose backing the singer.
