Margaret Josephs opened up about the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” which premieres tonight, during an interview with “Hollywood Lian” on February 9.
After wrapping filming on the new episodes months ago, Josephs told the host that she and her cast mates “go on some really fun trips” and enjoy getting to know each other on a deeper level.
“You see some great bonding moments, a lot of funny lines,” Josephs teased, via a clip shared on YouTube.
‘RHONJ’ Season 11 Won’t Be COVID-Heavy
“You see the husbands a lot because they’re around a lot. You get to see me write my book, the process of it, which is fun. There’s a lot of dramatic stuff but there’s also a lot of good times. And we’re not hyper-focusing on COVID,” Josephs continued.
Although she and her cast mates won’t be seen enduring too much of the pandemic, Josephs and the rest of the cast did follow safety precautions throughout filming, as did the rest of their filming crew for “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
The ‘RHONJ’ Cast Is Very Emotional
Josephs went on to say that because she and her cast mates are so different, they make for a great television ensemble.
“We’re all very emotional. We’re all very different personalities. I think that’s why we work,” she explained. “We keep it real. I think some of the girls are alcohol-induced. I think I’m at the age where I don’t want to put up with any nonsense so I’m going to call you out. And I think we deal with real-life sh*t. We all have something going on in our life at any given moment. Everybody has dealt with real-life drama. This year, especially, you’re going to see relationships. Everyone [has] a very personal story.”
Margaret Josephs Comments On Danielle Staub Fight
Looking back on her altercation with Staub during season 10, Josephs said, “It was a very violent scene.”
“Production cried. Producers came out of the back and cried. She was sent away. It was a bad scene and at that moment, I thought, ‘Maybe this isn’t my life,’” Josephs admitted.
“I thought for a second, I was like, ‘I don’t know if I can do this.’ I don’t know people like that. I don’t know anybody who would do something from behind.”
Margaret Josephs Reacts To Comparison Between Her Fight With Danielle Staub And Pushing Marty Caffrey In A Pool
“You can’t compare the two. Kids do that at pool parties,” Josephs shared.
“That was an iconic Bravo moment. I pushed him from the front. That was a sneak attack from behind. I couldn’t defend myself. She wanted me to hit her and I wasn’t going to do that. I said, ‘I shouldn’t have poured the water.’ You can’t incite a rabid dog and that’s what she was.”
To see more of Josephs and her castmates, don’t miss tonight’s premiere of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” season 11 on Bravo at 9/8c.
