Welcome back to the wild ride of Kaylor. If you're new: that's Karlie Kloss + Taylor Swift together, and it's really complicated.

Karlie and Taylor were attached at the hip for several years. Seemingly inseperable and insistently platonic, their PDA persistence subjected them to romance rumors.

The next few years were suddenly dark, and no one can land on what might've happened here...until recently, when Swift's surprise album "folklore" started setting off all sorts of fires.

Yesterday left off in London (@ the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show).

Swift, who served as a musical guest at the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, was asked back for the 2014 production. Her kinship with Kloss had them complementing each other with on-theme outfits:

semi-lacy, somewhat strappy, super-steamy lingerie.

With glistening legs and a cool confidence, Karlie and Taylor met their mark, locked a gaze, grabbed the other's hand, and proceeded to prance down the runway to Swift's "Style," a strong/sexy/surfer-strut from her then-latest album "1989".

Taylor's towering presence made her a natural mesh amongst the models - she stands around 5' 11'' (and Karlie around 6' 2'').

Kaylor came blazing back for Swift's satirical "Blank Space," swapping out black-on-black with blush-toned bedroom sets.

Taylor seemed more keyed up this time...maybe because she kept looking around for Karlie, who eventually emerged with butterfly wings.

Karlie started a body language banter, Taylor took a good look, and you can watch the moment below.

Also seen serving looks:

fellow friends/future squad mates Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt - both of whom are big players in Kloss/Swift saga.

And before the taping: Aldridge interviewed Swift backstage, and Taylor told her how exciting it was to be with friends.

"We hang out all the time, and then we get to come to London. It's like this girls trip."

"Every single one of the girls has been in [my] trailer - and they're all wearing these robes, by the way - it's like an actual fantasy."

Now back in New York, Taylor and Karlie, alongside aforementioned model friends Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt, went to see The 1975 play at a venue called Terminal 5.

During the December 4th concert: videos emerge on Twitter of Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss kissing, starting a strange PR scandal called "kissgate."

TMZ took hold of it, as did others, yet Swift's camp had an off-beat response...a next-day article from ET said her rep called it "crap."

Kissgate also appears to be the only time that Taylor's team has ever addressed a romance rumor.

A few days later (on December 8th), Taylor tweeted: "As my 25th birthday present from the media, I'd like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty"

It's worth noting that the 2014 VS Fashion Show had been taped in advance.

It aired on December 9th, the day after Taylor's tweet.

(Maybe also worth noting is the Tumblr tear that Taylor was on during all this - she was lobbing out "likes" on Kaylor content while it was the centerpiece of its own media meltdown.)
