Mandy Rose's Raunchy Fan Content Rakes In Loads Of Cash After Release From WWE

Mandy Rose may no longer be a WWE star, but her career is just taking off, as the pro wrestler recently revealed that she's made $500k in just a week and all from posting raunchy content on the subscription-based platform FanTime. Rose was recently fired due to the racy content, which WWE has banned all its sports stars from participating in.

Before being fired, Rose competed on the NXT roster and held the women's NXT champion title for over 400 days. She lost her crown to newbie wrestling star Roxanne Perez the day before being fired by the WWE. Reports on her firing suggested that WWE felt they had "absolutely no choice" due to the "explicit nature" of her content on FanTime.

Shortly after Rose was fired, her former Absolution partner Saraya, took to social media to show her support and react to the news. Former WWE CEO Vince McCahon was instrumental in banning WWE wrestlers from using their names and likeness on third-party platforms.

Despite being fired by WWE, Rose is still raking in the dough, as she recently revealed to TMZ Sports that she made at least $500k in a week just from posting sexual content on FanTime, the subscription-based platform that's similar to OnlyFans. Rose was recently fired due to her racy content on the platform, which is a big red line for the WWE brand.

The firing has been extremely controversial, but it's also significantly boosted Rose and her brand. Her agent, Malki Kawa, spoke to TMZ and revealed Rose's massive earnings from the FanTime platform. Kawa even predicted that the former WWE star would be a self-made millionaire by Christmas, which is only a few days away.

Before WWE fired Rose, she competed on the NXT roster and held the women's champion title for over 400 days. Rose first won the title at Halloween Havoc 2021 after defeating Raquel Rodriguez and soon became the third-longest reigning NXT Women's Champion in history. She defended her title successfully against talented wrestlers like Dakota Kai and Alba Fyre.

Rose lost her title to Roxanne Perez on December 13th, the day before WWE fired her. Perez only just debuted in the WWE in April 2022 but has already made a name for herself first as the NXT Women's Tag Team Champion and now with her NXT Women's Title win.

The reality of WWE's decision to fire Rose was that the NXT decision-makers discovered last minute, the racy content she'd been posting, which contravened the parameters of third-party content in her WWE deal. The match was decided in Perez's favor, and Rose was released from her deal the next day.

Reports on the firing suggested that WWE decision-makers felt they had "absolutely no choice" but to take serious action against Rose because of the "explicit nature" of the pictures and videos on FanTime.

Shortly after the news went public, several WWE figures, including Rose's former Absolution partner Saraya, aka Paige, took to her Twitter account to show support.

Rose's content was so problematic because of the 2020 decision by WWE to ban all wrestlers from using their name and likeness on any third-party platforms in ways that can cause detriment to the company. The decision was spurred on by Vince McMahon, the then-CEO and Chairman of the wrestling company.

In the statement released by the company, WWE explained the ban as a method to protect its intellectual property and gave all wrestlers a 30-day deadline to terminate their activities on such third-party platforms. It also noted that continued violations would attract fines, suspension, or termination at the company's discretion.

The statement partly read per The Sun, "It is the control and exploitation of these characters that allows WWE to drive revenue, which in turn enables the company to compensate performers at the highest levels in the sports entertainment industry."
