It’s a commitment that she’s obligated to do and she’s showing that no matter what, she’ll stick to her word. On Thursday, July 30, she posted a throwback clip showing her 1992 “Top of the Pops” performance singing her hit “Can’t Let Go.”
Mariah Carey isn’t just reminiscing. To celebrate her 30-year debut album, she’s expected to remaster a number of her music videos and release other surprises.

While the five-time Grammy winner’s career is booming, it’s the opposite for Nick Cannon. The star, who was married to Mariah Carey for six years, faced major criticism after spewing anti-Semitic comments towards the Jewish community.
As The Blast reported, he lost his longtime gig as “Wild ‘n Out” host after ViacomCBS decided to sever ties with him following the backlash. His highly-anticipated talk show was also pushed back to 2021 with no premiere date in place. Nick Cannon scared fans when he posted some troubling messages on social media, tagging himself in “Heaven” and writing, “Goodbye Earth.”
He went silent on both Twitter and Instagram for two days before reappearing and claiming he was having suicidal thoughts. Nick Cannon claimed his community turned their back on him when he needed it most. Fans immediately sent prayers the star’s way, begging him to get the help he needs. Nick Cannon later deleted all traces of the troubling messages from his Instagram.
He tried to make his wrongs right by sitting down with a rabbi to talk about their cultural backgrounds and shared a black lives matter post that both were torn to shreds by trolls.
