"This Is 50" For Actress Alyssa Milano
Milano had a message for her social media followers about turning 50 and what it means for her. "This is 50. No filter. No touching up. No make up. I will spend this day, the same as every day. I will move a little, love a lot, be of service, and count my blessings," she began her caption. "I’m happy to be here. Right here. Right now. In this time. In my time. In your time."
Her caption continued by explaining there's a lot to look forward to, and to thank everyone for the well wishes. "There’s still so much to look forward to! And you know what? It’s even been okay to look back where I’ve been, where I came from, how far I’ve come, who came into my life and who stayed," she wrote. "Thanks for all of your support and Birthday wishes. Let’s keep going."
Many of her friends and fans left birthday wishes for her in the comment section of the post. Her former onscreen father, Tony Danza, dropped into the comments to say, "Happy birthday!!!" and "Wonder Years" star Danica McKellar wrote, "Happy milestone birthday! You look marvelous. 😍😍😍" Pauly Shore added, "Good for you miss you." Many other birthday wishes filled the comment section of the post that received more than 100K likes in less than a day.
Danza also wished his onscreen daughter a happy birthday with a special tweet.

A "Who's The Boss?" Revival Is Happening!
In June, it was announced that a "Who's The Boss?" revival landed a deal with Amazon Freevee. Milano and Danza, 71, will be reprising their iconic roles as Tony and Samantha Micelli, set 30 years after the original series ended. The show will focus on the relationship between Danza's character and Milano's. The series will still explore generational differences and different parenting styles as the original did.
There have been talks circulating about a possible sequel since 2020. Milano talked to ET a few weeks ago about the revival. "I was very skeptical about this. And then I spoke to Tony...and I got kind of excited," she said. "I was like, 'If we could put this together in a way that really stays true to that whole progressive thing that we had in the 80s.' Angela was a single mom raising her kids, owned her own business, divorced, had a promiscuous cougar mother that lived in the backyard talking about hickeys and then she hires a dude to come clean her house. I mean, in the80s that was huge."
She continued to explain that she hopes to keep the show that progressive, and also revealed that a script was submitted to Freevee before Thanksgiving.

Milano posted information about the impending sequel on Instagram in August 2020 captioning a throwback photo of her and Danza, "🚨ANNOUNCEMENT🚨 I AM SO EXCITED!#WhosTheBoss is coming back!!! I’ve wanted to share this for so long and now I can! 😭 We feel the time is right to tell the story of where these amazing characters are today. Can’t wait to share their stories with you. So happy."
Many people took to the comment section to express their excitement for the revival. "I want to watch again all the seasons right now, wanting the next ones," one fan wrote. Another added, "I cant wait!!! This news definitely made my night!!!"
