Tory Lanez has been the suspected shooter who shot Megan Thee Stallion in both of her feet a few weeks ago after a house party in Hollywood Hills, CA. Earlier in the night, they were even seen together with Kylie Jenner. Around 4:30am, shots were fired outside an SUV that Tory, Megan and another woman were in. Police tracked the car down and found a gun owned by Tory as he was charged with a felony of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

On Monday, Megan took to Instagram Live for the first time to address the incident and did confirm that she was shot in both feet and not just one. Luckily though, the bullets did not hit any bones but she still had to go through surgery. She credited her family members who passed away for looking over her. Megan emphasized that this situation is no laughing matter like social media has made it out to be and she didn’t deserve to get shot.
Tory has arguably been the most hated rapper in the game since the incident. On his birthday (July 27), a petition was even created on Change.org calling for signatures so he could get deported back to his home country of Canada. It has collected over 14,400 signatures so far. The petition is planning to be sent to the Department of Homeland Security. The petition emphasizes how Tory hasn’t contributed to the economy and is someone who is violent towards women.

Fans are fed up to the point where they want Tory banned from America forever. This likely won’t happen “forever” but could definitely face huge jail time if convicted of his felony gun charge.

Prior to this incident, Tory had been one of the hottest artists of 2020 and one of the most entertaining on social media. He released his ‘The New Toronto 3’ mixtape in April which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. He was also frequently on Instagram Live doing his “Quarantine Radio” show while the country was staying at home due to many states’ stay-at-home orders in the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. He’s been off of social media since the incident which does look like a guilty sign but we will see how this all plays out legally.
