Alex Rodriguez Declares His Romance With Fitness Guru Jac Cordeiro On Instagram

Alex Rodriguez and Jac Cordeiro have finally gone Instagram official with their relationship.

The former baseball star took to Instagram to post a picture of himself alongside his new partner and his two daughters, Natasha and Ella, attending a Christmas party.

This IG reveal comes weeks after speculation about the nature of their relationship as they were spotted by photographers walking hand in hand during an outing in New York.

Rodriguez was previously in a relationship with Kathryne Padgett, which ended in September. He also ended his engagement with Jennifer Lopez in April 2021 after being in a relationship with her for two years plus.

On December 18, Rodriguez confirmed his relationship with his new beau Cordeiro on social media after weeks of speculation that the duo was now an item.

The former professional baseball shortstop posted a photo of himself at a Christmas celebration with his two kids, Natasha, 18, and Ella, 14, whom he shares with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, along with the 42-year-old master's degree holder in Nursing, who he is currently dating.

The four individuals in the photo were all beaming as they posed for photographs in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.

"From our hearts to yours, Merry Christmas," Rodriguez captioned the photo with a couple of hashtags that expressed his mood about the festive season.

According to her Instagram bio, the businessman/philanthropist's new girlfriend is also an entrepreneur and the founder of her own fitness program, JacFit. She also writes about leading a healthy lifestyle and dabbling in fitness modeling.

Rodriguez and Cordeiro first sparked dating rumors in October when paparazzi spotted them outside in New York City.

The two were captured strolling down the street in casual clothing and dark shades with their hands lovingly entwined. The pair were also seen stopping at a fashionable store in the Beverly Hills area to check out some items on sale.

At the time, a source told Page Six that the duo was enjoying each other's company, which further fueled dating rumors.

"Friends say he's very happy and enjoying [their] time together. He's enjoying spending time with her. She's great! She's a former nurse and a mother of two," the insider said. "He's great with her and really happy."

It is claimed that the pair share many things in common, including a love for fitness and being single parents.

Before Rodriguez got involved with Cordeiro, the father of two was in a relationship with Padgett for most of the year, which was confirmed to have ended in September, per People.

"It just ran its course," an insider told the publication about why the relationship ended.

The insider also said that the pair decided that they were not a good fit for the long run and were "better as friends,"

Another source close to the couple also shared the same sentiments about the breakup.

"They're good friends — they're just each single," the source said. "They broke up, but they're super tight. It's all good."

Although they were frequently seen together at nightclubs and events in Italy, Ibiza, Spain, and New York City throughout the relationship, the 25-year-old and the former third baseman never publicly acknowledged their relationship.

Rodriguez's string of relationships comes after he parted ways with superstar singer, actress, and dancer Jennifer Lopez.

The pair dated for two years plus and were engaged to be married before they parted ways in April 2021

"We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so," the ex-couple announce their split via a joint statement at the time, per E! News. "We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects."

A few weeks after, Rodriguez shared that he was ready to begin a new phase of his life.

"Anything that doesn't serve me is clearing out of my life," Rodriguez wrote on his Instagram stories. "New energy is emerging. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming."
