Kylie Jenner is being asked if she's flat-out broke. The 22-year-old makeup mogul whose 2020 net worth is listed at $900 million – apparently not $1 billion anymore – updated her Instagram on Sunday night with a rare promo.
Kylie, once a regular with the paid Instagram ads, actually only posted two paid ads in 2019. Sister Kendall Jenner, meanwhile, raked in $15.9 million with her 26 paid ads last year to be crowned the platform's highest female-paid influencer. Kylie's #ad update last night was for Sugar Bear Sleep, affiliated with the Sugar Bear Hair vitamins brand she once promoted on a regular basis.

Scroll for the video. Kylie, followed by 187 million, had posted a boomerang of herself seductively licking a Sugar Bear tablet that's supposed to help with sleep. The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star appeared shot close up in a dark top, rocking a light manicure and clearly holding the pastel-colored packaging up for her fans to see.
A caption read: "I take 2 @SugarBearSleep gummies on the nights I need a little help to fall asleep #ad ? They are vegan, cruelty free, and clinically proven!
These purple bear gummies are more than just melatonin. #SugarBearSleep!❤️"

Kylie, who purchased a $36.5 million home earlier this year and reportedly just dropped $200,000 on a pony for 2-year-old daughter Stormi, now sees a mix of backlash over the vitamin promo and queries over whether she needs the top-up cash. The Kylie Skin founder made headlines in 2019 for commanding up to $1 million per sponsored Instagram post.
Many fans weren't buying it. "Stop this stupid advertisement, we all know you don't take them," one wrote, with another saying: "I'm more interested in knowing how much Sugar Bear paid for this ad."
Then the family got involved – Sugar Bear Hair has ties with sisters Khloe and Kim Kardashian.

Amid comments calling the vitamins "chemical crap" and "toxic," with one user questioning the "clinically proven" caption, Kylie also found herself asked if she was "broke." Also controversial was one of the top-liked comments from 36-year-old sister Khloe Kardashian. The Good American founder wrote: "You got me taking them too!!!"
Fans weren't buying that either – Khloe is a promo face for Sugar Bear Hair herself. "Bullsh-t," one fan replied, with another saying: "Khloe prob got some too off this comment."

Kylie made headlines this year both for being crowned the world's youngest self-made billionaire two years in a row by Forbes, and, seemingly, for having the status stripped away. The iconic magazine alleged that the Kylie Cosmetics CEO forged tax returns in a report entitled: "Kylie Jenner's Web of Lies."
Kylie clapped back to the allegations suggesting her business is "significantly smaller, and less profitable than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe." She called the accusations "inaccurate" and "unproven assumptions lol."
Kylie sold 51% of her Kylie Cosmetics company to Coty Inc in 2019 for $600 million.
