Oprah Winfrey & Gayle King had quite the surprise this morning after the security team advised them there was a BEAR roaming around her property, and they would need to stay indoors!!
In a video, shared by the CBS host who is quarantined inside Oprah’s Santa Barbara estate, a security team member can be heard warning King to stay inside while they deal with the fuzzy creature!
The clip is great, and just like a true journalist Gayle questions why she can’t go down and get a good look for herself of the animal.
As you can see, the masked up security guard is walking the property to make sure everyone is safe and warned of the situation.
In the video, Gayle asked the man if Oprah has been told of the scary situation — and he says she is aware of the unwanted visitor. The security personal reveals that the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department is currently at Oprah’s house and they are dealing with trying to get the bear back to the wild.

The video is GREAT! Gayle grills the security guard on how big the bear is….to which he answers it is an ‘adolescent’ bear and shows her with his hands just how big it is…
Of course, as we said, Gayle questioned ‘We can’t go take a look’ for ourselves. — it was a no go!
It should be noted that Oprah’s SB property is HUGE! So, when the group was warned that the bear was at the ‘front of the property’ it could be a golf cart ride away. In other words, this thing isn’t right outside of their window.

The bear sighting didn’t slow Gayle down, she posted a photo along with the video, of herself setting up shop, and preparing to do some of her CBS News work inside of the home.
The media mogul and her BFF have been quarantining together at Oprah’s property, after spending several weeks apart, in the guest house, while Gayle awaited a COVID-19 test.
“After 13 and a half days quarantined in my guest house, @gayleking and her @cbsthismorning team released from COVID quarantine,” Winfrey posted on Instagram.
“We are here to welcome our guests, who have tested negative,” Oprah said. “Welcome, welcome!”
