Nick Cannon is facing backlash once again and this time he’s being called out by his community after sharing a black lives matter post. The 39-year-old star has been quiet on social media ever since his anti-Semitic rant about Jewish people landed him in hot water with several Hollywood executives. Nick Cannon was fired as host of “Wild ‘n Out” after ViacomCBS severed ties with the star. His highly-anticipated talk show was also pushed back to 2021 with no set release date.
After apologizing for his anti-Semitic slurs, many of his fans lashed out at him with claims he wasn’t supporting black people. Nick Cannon claimed his community had turned their back on him when he needed it most and revealed he was struggling with suicidal thoughts. While many people sent their support to Nick Cannon after he opened up about his mental health, haters turned on him once again when he shared a post about police brutality over the weekend.

Posting a video showing him rapping about black lives matter and police, Nick Cannon is seen with his head on the cement during a fake arrest. “LET’S NOT BE DISTRACTED FROM OUR MISSION,” he captioned the throwback video.
“I Can’t Breathe… Again! Gaht Damn!! I can’t breathe!” he added while sharing the lyrics from the video including, “2020 ain’t no fucking vision, on your Tell-Lie-Vision, of why I’m living as a prejudged Villain!” and “Your white wife who had the nerve, to say she was frightened by black life, while my face is on the fucking curb!” But followers aren’t having it.
Nick Cannon’s followers immediately slammed the star, critiquing his words and saying he doesn’t know what it’s like. “Nah I’m good on your empty words,” one person wrote, “and you let them Jews aka white people distract you so we good.”
Another person warned Nick Cannon that he “can’t play both sides,” while someone else told him, “Boy you aren’t bout this black life, you ran from fire.” Nick Cannon’s mental health was questioned after he revealed his suicidal thoughts and while some are supporting him, others may be making it worse.
