Heather Rae Young is sharing what she has learned from her birthing classes!
As the end of her pregnancy draws closer, the reality star becomes increasingly aware of what birthing her first child and baby boy with her husband, Tarek El Moussa, would entail. However, she is not worried about anything as she has spent the last few days soaking in the festivities and love with her man and his two kids, Taylor and Brayden.
Heather Rae Young Shares The Lesson She Learned From Her Birthing Coach
Since she and Tarek announced that they are expecting their first bundle of joy together, Heather has spent most of her time updating fans on her journey, including health struggles with her sciatic nerve.
While she has found a way to manage the pain, the "Selling Sunset" star has now focused on other things. Per her latest update, Heather learned something new during a birthing class she had.
Along with a car-selfie that showed her in a brown top and white fur-like jacket, with white nails and a face beat, the expectant mother explained, "I really can't believe this year is almost over. I feel like the last few months didn't even exist- Did we even have a November?? Lol As the very end of my pregnancy nears I am in final prep going into 2023."
The actress mentioned that her hospital bag was ready, with a promise to show her followers and fans what she planned to take with her. Heather then added that she had learned a lot from the birthing coach who had come to her house, making her feel "more comfortable & in my own environment." The 35-year-old continued:
"Not sure about any of my mamas out there, but with their first baby, I swear the moment I felt a contraction I probably would've freaked out [and] made Tarek stop whatever he was doing to take me to the hospital. She taught me some tricks to try before rushing to the hospital- so much information I did not know."
She finished her caption by highlighting her readiness and empowerment to "bring this boy into the world." The update immediately gave Heather's supporters a chance to advise her, with one writing:
"Some advice is labor as much as you can at home!!!!!!! The hospital gives people anxiety and it goes downhill! Good luck, and I can't wait to hear how it goes!"
"Yup from a mama of six...if you think you are in labor, drink a glass of water and take a shower. It will either confirm labor or stop the contractions," a second mom added. A third mother encouraged her to eat before going to the hospital.
Another person asked her to include an "Extra long charger, nursing bra, nursing friendly jammies, sleep eye-mask and ear plugs to keep out distractions for the 5 seconds of sleep you'll get (and need). A cable to connect your computer to the TV in the room so you can watch what you want, a hydro flask, blanket from home, and snacks," in her hospital bag.
Heather previously shared how being pregnant made her feel when she uploaded a glam photo on Instagram in September. The Blast shared that underneath the pic, she expressed that finding out she was pregnant got her "even MORE inspired." She also praised mothers as "superheroes" who could handle raising kids and working simultaneously.
The Former Model Showcases Nursery Ideas For Her Baby Boy
In October, The Blast reported that Heather shared four snaps of different nurseries, with hopes that her fans could correctly guess the one that belonged to her unborn baby. While the first image featured a white-toned room with gray leaf prints drawn on its walls and other serene decorations, including a matching cot and a nude couch, the second slide unveiled a soft-green cot and a white chair next to the window.
The wall was beautified with a mural of greenery, along with a wall attachment placed above the chair and a flower vase adorning a stool beside the window. For the third pic, Heather attached a room with black-and-white designs, including a gray couch, a black potted plant, and white drapes.
A final swipe to the left revealed a minimalistic room with neutral and leaf-patterned walls complimenting the white cot placed against it. Most people guessed that the third slide was the unborn tot’s room.
