Nick Cannon's 'Can't Breathe' Video Rejected By Instagram

Nick Cannon is being told he can "keep your empty words" – by his own Instagram followers. The 39-year-old former "Wild 'N Out" star this month fired for his antisemitic and anti-white remarks updated his account on Sunday. Cannon shared a series of videos and lyrics centering around murdered black man George Floyd and Black Lives Matter.

The footage that included BLM protesting, plus Cannon appearing to recreate 46-year-old Floyd's final and dying moments, did not, however, appear appreciated by some of the rapper's 5 million followers.

Nick's videos, seen below, sourced words from his "I CAN'T BREATHE AGAIN" poem. The black-and-white video saw both real-life situations and Cannon's re-enactment of them – the ex to Mariah Carey was briefly seen with his head sideways as he mouthed: "Please, I can't breathe."

A lengthy caption delivered the poem, with a snippet reading:

"I Can’t Breathe... Again! Gaht Damn!! I can’t breathe! Our voices haves been quarantined Covid 19-60s to 1619. Jamestown choked me, sold me, shackles hold me tightly,

by my neck and I can’t breathe... "

Cannon made antisemitic remarks on his "Cannon's Class" podcast in a 2019-recorded episode featuring controversial rapper Professor Griff – Cannon called Jewish and white people "the true savages."

ViacomCBS has since cut ties with the ex MTV face. Despite an apology from Cannon and an admission of him feeling "ashamed of the uniformed and naive place" his comments came from, his fans haven't forgotten the scandal. The top-liked reply read:

"Nah I’m good on your empty words ✌?✌?✌?and you let them Jews aka white people distract you so we good ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️." More responses below.

The above comment racked up over 580 likes in three hours. While some fans did seem to have the rapper's back – "We got u Nick" – replies slamming the disgraced presenter worked their way up the comments section.

"Can't play both sides??‍♂️" was one such one.

"Nah talk about us being the real Jews some more you ain’t slick," another fan wrote.

"Wild 'N Out" isn't all the rapper has lost. July 17 saw Lionsgate and Debmar-Mercury issue a statement revealing that Cannon's much-anticipated talk show, due to premiere this year, won't be debuting until 2021.

Following his firing and the mass focus on his antisemitic remarks, Cannon sparked concern that he might be suicidal after geo-tagging himself in "Heaven" and writing: "Goodbye Earth" on Instagram. A message appearing to suggest past suicidal ideation further sparked worry.

Nick has since wiped his entire Instagram, bar the above and below videos.

Cannon's video today touched both on BLM and the COVID pandemic. Its caption closed: "So Who has the disease you or me? Because I’m at a dis ease, dis advantage, dismantled, disability, of your white knees killing me."

A fan replied: "Boy you aren't bout this black life,you ran from fire."
