Instagram superstar Sommer Ray has amassed a huge following from her fitness videos and titillating photos, so it's no surprise to see that she probably learned most of her trademark moves from the OG -- her mama! 55-year-old Shannon Ray has racked up almost a million followers herself and gave them a horse-powered treat over the weekend by showing a more adventurous side.

"I was just wasting time till you came along," Shannon wrote while straddling a giant 4X4 Quad ATV.

It appears Shannon may have been posting a throwback from her getaway to the outdoors the other week with daughter, Sommer Ray, when the two spent some time heading out to the creek and camping with friends. The ATV Shannon is shown sitting atop is a CFMoto X8, which retails for around $9,000 and is known for awesome handling on rough terrains and mountains.

Fans were also loving the look, as one person commented:

After scrolling through Shannon Ray's portfolio of photos, it's not hard to see where 23-year-old Sommer Ray gets her amazing talents from.

"I see where Sommerray [sic] get her looks and smile from. Mother to daughter," one fan pointed out on social media.

Shannon is an accomplished model herself known for appearing in fitness magazines and bodybuilding competitions.

"I can never wrap my head around the fact that my momma is gonna be 56 years old next month," Sommer told her followers during a recent bikini photoshoot with Shannon.

Shannon has been extremely influential in managing her daughter's career, and aside from being a role model for Sommer, has helped paved the way for many of her business ventures. There have even been rumors from back in the day that Shannon helped Sommer acquire the millions of followers over the years.

Sommer is also very grateful for her mother's guidance, and isn't afraid to get mushy on The Gram.

"Happy mother’s day to my bestest friend in the world. i have no idea where i’d be without you.. hahhaa literally cause i wouldn’t be here without you but still you’re my support system & my rock. i love you more than you could ever imagine. thanks for being the best momma ever," Sommer wrote on Instagram during a Mother's Day tribute.
