Jack Osbourne is taking no prisoners!
Whenever a famous person suffers a crisis — whether it is financial, mental, or health-related, journalists scramble for sources to confirm or deny the information. However, one news outlet boss got more than he bargained for when he reached out to Jack for an update on the well-being of one of the members of his famous family.
Jack Osbourne Hits Tabloid Producer Where He Leasts Expects In Text Chain
Jack showed his 647k followers the other side of his personality when a reporter asked him to confirm the news of his mom, Sharon Osbourne's hospitalization. The drama began after word got sent out that Sharon had reportedly collapsed while filming on a set.
Within hours, reporters began scrambling for who to ask for the authentic story. Eventually, one reporter texted Jack on iMessage. In his words:
"We received information that your mom Sharon fainted on the set of a paranormal-themed TV show at Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, CA, on Friday night. I am reaching out to confirm this information. If it's true, I hope she feels better and makes a speedy recovery. Please advise. Thank you."
Although it is hard to tell when he responded, the 37-year-old did clap back, "Hi Jamie Schram. Here's my comment - try and contact me directly ever again and you'll be the one "fainting" you desperate little c**t." He then added a follow-up, "Feel free to quote that you sh*t stick."
The media personality uploaded a screenshot of the short conversation to his Instagram Story with the caption that read, "Nothing better then [sic] being woken up in this after being with your mother in hospital all night. @tmz_tv at its finest once again." At the bottom, he jokingly queried, "Did I come off to [sic] harsh? Hahaha."
Shortly after the medical emergency occurred, The Blast reported that Sharon had been filming a paranormal television show in Santa Paula, California, before she passed out and was quickly rushed to the hospital.
The crew was supposedly filming at the Glen Tavern Inn — the 'iconic Hollywood retreat' that was once featured in an episode of Travel Channel's "Ghost Adventures."
A Ventura County Fire Department rep claimed that emergency medical service workers responded to a "medical call" at the hotel around 6:30 PM local time on the night of Friday, December 16. Even though the Inn's manager confirmed an "emergency" on Friday night, he declined to comment on Sharon's health scare.
Meanwhile, Jack has since assured fans that the former "The Talk" co-host was back home after getting "the all clear from her medical team." The 37-year-old also addressed reports that his mother was filming an episode of "Ghost Adventures" when she suffered the medical emergency, stating:
"Ok, here is what I'll say - first things first MY MOTHER WASN'T FILMING AN EPISODE OF @ghostadventures. She was filming an episode of Night of Terror with me. Hahaha."
He also specified that it was up to Sharon to share the details of what happened to her on Friday night.
'The X Factor' Cameo Star Clapped Back At Wendy Williams For Insensitive Opinion
Jack made headlines in February 2022 after he clapped back at broadcaster Wendy Williams for her take on Amie Harwick's death, per The Blast. In case you missed it, the late writer died after falling from the third-floor balcony of her Hollywood Hills home.
Amid varying theories about the events leading up to the tragic event, including allegations that her boyfriend pushed her during a dispute, Williams had this to say:
"She was killed. Not by Drew," referring to Harwick's ex-fiancée and "The Price Is Right" host, Drew Carey. "The Wendy Williams Show" hostess took a breath before adding, "Come on down," which is the famous catchphrase from Carey's show.
The 58-year-old also moved her head up and down, which viewers took as a reference to Harwick's fall. Not one to let such subliminal comments go, an upset Jack wrote on Twitter:
"Hey Wendy Williams, Amie was a friend. How dare you be so rude and shallow to make a 'joke' out of something that is not funny in the slightest. She was tragically murdered, yet you somehow tried to make light of that. Shame on you. Smh."
Several people agreed with "The Osbournes" star's statement, with one person labeling Williams an "insensitive woman."
