“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard is apologizing to Kim Kardashian after accusing her of not caring about her husband Kanye West.
The reality star took to Instagram to issue an apology to Kim Kardashian for her remarks about Kanye’s meltdown. Earlier this month, following Kanye’s first campaign rally, Candiace released a video trashing Kim and the way she was handling the situation. In the video, she accused Kim of not caring about her husband.
Candiace is now backtracking from her original statement.
She posted a video captioned, “An amendment to my original statement. There are many theories surrounding the chain of events around Ye. I only care that he is being looked after. My frustration was born out of what looked like abandonment. But...If the people say they’re taking care of him, then they MUST care. And I must correct myself. I hope the action can be swift and successful. Bipolar disorder takes a toll on the entire family. It’s not like cancer. You can’t see the tumor on a scan. Sometimes you don’t know which version of your loved one you’re getting. I get it. I hope his healing can be productive and private.”
She said, “so, a lot has been said, about my public address concerning our brother Kanye West.”

Candiace said, “I was wrong about certain things. In my previous post, it’s everywhere, did not expect that.” The “RHOP” star pointed out in her original statement she said it was possible Kim and the Kardashians were privately trying to help Kanye.
She said since reading reports of Kim’s attempts to get Kanye medical help she is backing off. Candiace said, “My anger and frustration was geared solely at what looked like abandonment. It looked like no one was protecting him and the people who are supposed to protect him … they were not there for him. That’s what it looked like.”
The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star then said she was sorry to Kim for her original comments.
