Stassi Schroeder may not be on "Vanderpump Rules" anymore but she's still there for her co-stars. The former Bravo personality returned to social media to show her support to fellow "Pump Rules" star Lala Kent on her sobriety. Taking to Instagram on Friday, July 24, Lala Kent opened up about her personal struggles with an emotional post. The blonde will mark her two-year sobriety anniversary in September but she doesn't deny that it hasn't been a struggle to get here.
Posting a breathtaking photo of herself wearing a cheetah print outfit, Lala Kent got real with her fans in a lengthy post. "It’s been awhile since I’ve posted about sobriety. It’s important for me to say that this is a disease that can only be self diagnosed. No one got me sober... I got me sober," she began her caption.
"I made the choice to work hard every day to not pick up a drink. When I’m feeling weak, I call my sponsor. I go to meetings (sign onto them, now) to keep my spirits high and to remember why I made this life-changing choice," she continued.
Adding it's not her job to judge, Lala Kent wrote, "It’s my job to pray for them and take a moment of silence for the alcoholic who still suffers. And when someone comes to me asking for help, I offer my ear & knowledge, and point them in the direction that was pointed to me." She ended her post by hashtagging the exact time she's been sober which is "#1year9months2days."
While fans immediately poured out words of encouragement, they were quick to point out Stassi Schroeder's sweet comment to her once enemy.
The girls struggled with their relationship with Lala Kent first showed up on the scene of "Vanderpump Rules" but over time, developed a close friendship. While Stassi Schroeder has been quiet on social media since the firing scandal, she's been slowly making a comeback and now she's showing support to her former co-star.
"Love you. And very proud. ❤️," Stassi Schroeder wrote. Instead of spewing hate, fans begged the pregnant star to return to the show despite the scandal. Days after being fired, Stassi Schroeder revealed she was expecting her first child with fiancé Beau Clark and it's a girl!
