Simone Biles may have just revealed her split with Stacey Ervin Jr. but it didn't take long for both of them to move on. The 23-year-old Olympian recently confirmed the breakup rumors, opening up about ending their two-year romance to Vogue. While they both have quickly found new love interests, Stacey Ervin Jr.'s big girlfriend reveal didn't come without a little shade aimed towards his ex-girlfriend's way. One day after Simone shared a snap with her rumored new man, Stacey took to his social media to drop a line under a smoking hot blonde and slammed his former flame.
In a screenshot caught by our friends at The Shade Room, Stacey Ervin Jr. commented on a photo of a topless shot of a blonde with blue eyes and insinuated that's his new boo. "Niiiiiice," he commented while including a kissing face and fire emoji. When someone commented back, "damn you moved on quickly," the 26-year-old wasted no time confirming the rumor while taking unnecessary aim at his ex.
"When you find better you find better," he commented back which rubbed fans the wrong way.
"White doesn't mean better. Clearly Simone is winning...it's something about those DB's," one person wrote. "He salty because her man is fine," teased another. "Well clearly she found better, the jokes on him," laughed a third. "Oh he mad mad!!!" posted a fourth.
Earlier this week, Simone Biles came out strong by posting a flirty snap with her rumored new boyfriend, NFL star Jonathan Owens. Giving him a shout-out on his birthday, fans were quick to high-five the Olympian on her upgrade.
Breakup rumors began swirling with Stacey Ervin Jr. did not wish Simone Biles a happy birthday on March 14.
According to Vogue, the star and Ervin broke up back in March. Revealing the split to the publication during their interview, she said, "It's hard being young and having that long of a relationship and then ending it." While she mentioned how tough it was ending it, she didn't seem to have any regrets. "It was for the best," she told Vogue.
