Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green are all about spreading love and kindness, especially to men having it difficult this holiday season.

In light of DJ tWitch's death, the couple is speaking up about mental health and self-care support. While mourning the demise of their friend, the pair acknowledged that they’re people grieving and experiencing a hard time. 

In the spirit of spreading the love this festive period, the couple partnered with a charity organization to offer mental health resources.

The “DWTS” alum and the actor made a joint video on Instagram, inspiring fans to be more open about their mental health struggles.

Green began the clip by saying, "While the holidays are filled with joy and celebration for many people, we want to take a moment and acknowledge that for some, the holidays are difficult time of year."

The professional dancer  listed categories of people having a hard time, saying, "maybe you’re experiencing the passing of a loved one, or you live far away from your family and friends, or you’re experiencing illness or financial hardship."

Green also pointed out that men sometimes find it challenging to ask for help, but he opined that it was a brave thing to ask for help. The tv star further revealed that they had partnered with Movember- a charity focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, to share hope with people.

Green beckoned his fans to be open about their mental health struggles. He said, "Join Sharna and I this holiday season to talk openly and authentically about mental health and self-care.” At the end of the video, the pair advised their fans to check in on their friends and family. 

In the post’s caption, they spread more love while highlighting the death of the late choreographer. The caption partly read, “I never thought we would be mourning the loss of one of the most beautiful and bright lights in our industry and community. Our passion to spread awareness has become even more personal to us in light of these tragic events.”

The message concluded, “We want you to know, you are loved, you are seen, and it will get better. You can find the light again, I promise you that.”

Brian Austin Opened Up About His Health Issues

As you may know, the actor has been open about his personal life. Earlier, we reported the actor disclosed that he had been suffering from some health issues.

Fans got to hear this when the actor made an appearance on “Good Morning America,” he revealed he lost 20lbs after his battle with ulcerative colitis.

According to Green, he had faced this illness “a couple of times,” and each was a challenging experience. The actor detailed how he had managed to live with this illness.

He said, “I try to avoid gluten and dairy as much as possible. It’s really just dietary, like, as long as I can keep things within my system that my body doesn’t think I’m poisoning it with, then it doesn’t fight back.”

He continued, “I would eat food, and literally it was like, my body didn’t process any of that. So then, when you start playing catch up with, like, staying on top of being hydrated enough, that’s such a battle.”

Recall that in March, the actor was absent from social media, and he disclosed that this absence resulted from Ulcerative Colitis which left him bedridden.

He explained it in a video, saying, “I had ulcerative colitis for about six, six-and-a-half weeks, which wasn’t very fun. Horrible timing.”

Per The Blast, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum bounced back after a bout of illness, and he noted that his fiancée was a great help during that period, even when she was pregnant. 

In his video update, he said, “Sharna was amazing — six, seven months pregnant — taking care of my three young kids because I was pretty bedridden for a while.”

He continued, “Taking care of me, not complaining, being amazing. I am super thankful to have someone like her in my life.”

Burgess, overwhelmed with love from her man, sweetly responded to the post. She wrote, “Baby, this was beautiful and unexpected. I love you, and I’ve got you. You and the kids, always. ❤️xx.”
