Kate Beckinsale is now receiving more comments geared towards her offbeat outfit than she is for being 46 and going grocery shopping with 23-year-old boyfriend Goody Grace. The "Underworld" actress has repeatedly fronted media outlets in 2020 for dating a man half her age and slightly older than her 21-year-old daughter – Kate has also made headlines for clapping back at trolls suggesting the age gap is inappropriate.

They showed Beckinsale out and about in Santa Monica and grabbing groceries from upscale Erewhon Market – Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus both stock their pantries there. The "Love & Friendship" star also dropped by Paper Source, with both destinations seeing her accompanied by Goody Grace.

The outfit was definitely a statement one. Kate, looking impossibly stylish, was clad in a strapless and patterned blue jumpsuit in paisley prints, also seen rocking a very loud, gold, and metallic pair of Saint Laurent platform heels. The shoes retail for over $890.

Kate and beau Goody were also snapped in protective face masks and latex gloves. Kate finished her look with statement shades and a glamorous chignon bun.

Viewers have been commenting. Over 250 users upvoted a remark over the statement footwear – "Not sure about the gold shoes...," the fan wrote. Kate was also subject to a little trolling, but nothing too hurtful, as a comment racking up similar likes read: "Why is she dressed like a damn genie."
