Draya Michele Backtracks On Foot Shooting Comment After Megan Thee Stallion Diss

Draya Michele is changing her tune, apologizing for insinuating "that there is room for violence in loving relationships." The former "Basketball Wives LA" star caught major heat after she made light of Megan Thee Stallion getting shot twice in the foot during a night with rapper Tory Lanez. Discussing the situation, which has not uncovered who actually shot Meg, the model had her head in the clouds when she shared her theory of what happened that night. Draya Michele fantasized that Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez have a Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston kind of relationship and said she was into it.

"I predict that they had some sort of Bobby & Whitney love that drove them down this type of road," Draya Michele said, before adding she was "here for it." Sticking her foot in her mouth, she continued, "I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot too."

Fans were not into her fantasy and immediately began slamming the star for glorifying domestic violence. When her interview came across Megan Thee Stallion, the "Savage" rapper laid into Draya.

While she didn't tag Draya Michele, her fans were convinced the rapper was calling the model out after turning her experience with gun violence into a joke. "Dumb bitch that shit ain’t fucking funny who tf jokes about getting shot by a n----," Megan Thee Stallion tweeted.

The "Captain Hook" rapper also switched gears, turning on everyone poking fun at the situation on social media. "And fuck all the hoe ass n----- making jokes about it too?? I’ll talk about shit when I get ready." While Draya Michele attempted to shut it after Megan Thee Stallion caught wind, she doubled down again on her apology one day later.

Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, July 23, Draya Michele wrote a lengthy apology. "I just want to take a min to address victims of domestic violence and abuse of any kind and just overall humans," she said. Continuing, Draya Michele added she was "wrong to insinuate that there is room for violence in loving relationships, or in any relationship for that matter."

She also admitted that it was wrong to "find humor or make light of the situation." Calling out her "poor" judgment, Draya Michele said she "deeply regrets" her statement.
