Heather Rae Young is excited about the family's improvised photoshoot!
Turning into temporary photographers, the pregnant star and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, spent the weekend shooting their own videos and photos for Christmas because the professional supposed to do it fell sick impromptu. After posting a teaser to her story, she finally dropped the cute images taken during their fun and chaotic day on her page.
Heather Rae Young Shares Photos From 'Favorite Jammy' Day
In the first slide, the El Moussa's could be seen standing together dressed in matching red and white pajamas with snowflake prints, laughing happily at each other with the actress holding her huge baby bump, looking ready to pop. Standing beside her was Tarek's son carrying the family's pet dog, who was also dressed in a romper.
In the second photo, the kids switched places, with 12-year-old Taylor standing next to Heather, who held the pup by her side, and the "Flip Or Flop" co-host standing behind Brayden with his arms holding him lovingly. The caption partly read:
"Happy holidays from the El Moussas ❤️🎁🎄 This might've been our favorite jammy picture day ever. It was impromptu, and it was fun!!"
She noted that it is always "chaos and madness" to get the kids and their dog in one place to take the holiday pictures, adding, "but we love it & wouldn't have it any other way."
The reality TV star admitted that their favorite tradition is to take "matching family jammie photos" and could not wait until they had another baby boy wearing his matching jammies.
Anticipating the arrival of the newest addition to the family made this year's Christmas tradition extra special for the "Selling Sunset" star. The Blast shared that she made sure to give her unborn child an early experience.
Heather reminisced on the previous year's celebration, which contained one important detail – no baby bump. In the precious pictures, the family of four once again wore matching pajamas – black-and-white plaid sets with red cuffs and necklines.
The former "Playboy of the Month" model sat on the floor with the kids and the dog while the 41-year-old peeked playfully from behind. The following slides saw more of the same theme of matching outfits and happy smiles. She wrote:
"Looking back at our favorite tradition of taking family Christmas photos in cute jammies!" adding, "This year was extra special 🤰🏼 and the best Christmas jammie year yet!!"
The "Love in the time of Monsters" actress explained why they could not take professional pictures this year and what they decided to do instead. She ended by teasing her followers by letting them know how special it was and when she would post them.
The blonde beauty relented on holding out by sharing some behind-the-scenes footage starting with their pet posing on the couch to a video done by her beau, who said, "Christmas videos, pictures," as she walked into the living area.
As she opened her robe to reveal her huge belly, he spun around to his 7-year-old sitting at the table and then to his almost teenage daughter coming down the stairs. The "Entertainment Tonight" guest host rubbed her bump in the next clip as she said, "Baby's first Christmas, technically," while her step-kids shouted in the background.
Amidst the chaos, she wrote, "always craziness in our house. Ready for a newborn," as they settled down in the final slide to watch a movie with the caption "movie night traditions. Home Alone."
'Selling Sunset' Star Praises Husband Tarek El Moussa For Dedication
Serenading her sweetheart, Heather shed light on his commitment to the essential things regardless of the massive work he had to do. The Blast reported that she posted the tribute to her Instagram story, which showed Tarek dressed in workout gear.
The outfit consisted of a pair of black shorts, a tank top, a black cap, and black and white trainers, as the social media influencer could not hide her admiration for him. The "HGTV" star, captured unawares, stood on a grass carpet inside a gym holding his phone as she wrote:
"The man's dedication is above everything I've ever seen. On top of working countless hours a day, he's up at 5:45 daily for his workouts."
