Terry Crews is one of the few actors who has voiced his deepest secrets to the world and his fans love him for his openness. The actor revealed a while ago that he went through a lot of struggles. It all had to do with being molested as a young boy. However, he found a way to curb his fears and anxiety and move on with his wife. Today, he is happily married to Rebecca King-Crews and has beautiful children and one grandchild.

Crews has been in the media a lot due to his recent tweets and while fans support some of his ideas, they cannot condone others.

Recently, the “Everybody Hates Chris” actor tweeted; “DEFUND PORNHUB” with his account of over 1.7 million followers. The tweet immediately garnered the attention of fans and they delved into the comment section to air their thoughts. The tweet had over 14 thousand retweets and 70 thousand likes.

Many of the comments supported Crews, but others had mixed feelings towards his motion.

Some of Crews’s fans acknowledged that the site which is used to watch adult films or content, is becoming addictive. They also explained that it has a side effect on young people who see it as the only source of entertainment.

Furthermore, the fans who supported Crews’s motion said that the site has resulted in a lot of broken homes as some couples use it as a yardstick for the sexual activities that happen in their marriages.

In his tweet, Crews tagged an organization known as Fight The New Drug. This association aims at helping people control or get rid of their excessive addiction for pornographic content. According to their Twitter page, the organization is a non-religious and non-legislative research company that strives to raise the awareness for pornographic addictions among young and old adults.

Crews was once faced with this addiction and according to him, it almost cost him his marriage. In 2016, the actor shared a video citing how his addiction to adult film sites almost ruined him.

“For years, my dirty little secret was I was addicted to pornography. This thing has become a worldwide problem. It really messed up my life in a lot of ways, it was my secret, nobody knew and that allowed it to grow.” He said.

Crews went on to say that his wife could not deal with his former hobby and wanted out of their marriage. In a way, that helped him realize that he needed to change.

One of the ways he did this, was by releasing himself to rehab to get better.
