Britney Spears Steps Out In No-Makeup Look

Britney Spears has revealed a new look -- the "natural" look, which she says will help make her look younger. She's spent years using heavier makeup and now has seemingly had a change of heart when it comes to her makeup routine.

Spears posted a selfie image on Instagram, and while it still looks like she's wearing eyeliner and some kind of lip gloss, and admits using mascara, she still does look more natural than in previous photos.

Yahoo Entertainment described it this way: "Spears’ foundation-free skin looks radiant in the natural sunlight, and her blonde hair is swept into a loose half-up, half-down style."

Spears seemed rather surprised at finding out that less is more.

"Who would have thunk it ?!?! After all this time in my life I'm just now learning that no makeup is the way to go. .... I mean …. a little makeup is fun but after spending so much time in hair and makeup chairs to look flawless .... I think a natural look is the way to go …. it makes you look waaaay younger and so much better ?✨? !!!! Pssss YES .... I know I'm wearing mascara in this ? !!!!"

Soon after her initial announcement, she later shared a second, very similar photo, which included her choker and off-the-shoulder shirt.

Britney's fans were loving this new look. One said: "We see your beautiful eyes Britney ????? YES!!" And singer Demi Lovato wrote "Beautiful" and included a pink heart emoji.

More accolades came through: One fan said "YOU LOOK FLAWLESS PERIODT❤️," and another said, "Love you❤️??."

Just a few days ago, Spearsposted a series of videos from a dance session at her home.

One song she danced to was Billie Eilish's "Bury A Friend," and wrote next to the clip: "Need I say more ..... Billie ??⭐️ !!!!!"

She acknowledged she wasn't wearing much makeup in the video clips, but it sounds like she pretty much didn't care.

"I know ..... I should [put] makeup on and brush my hair but I just wanna dance ? !!!!! @billieeilish."

She also danced to Rihanna's song "Never Ending," and thanked the singer for making music that could make her move.

"Rihanna …… your music makes me FEEL like I’ve never felt before ?⭐️???? !!!! 'Never Ending' is my favorite song off of the ANTI album ….." wrote Spears. "I feel like I’m flying with this song ?? …… thank you ??? !!!"

Given this newest footage, hopefully Britney is feeling a little more comfortable with herself these days.
