Kanye West has once again sparked mental health concerns after hosting his first presidential rally in South Carolina. The 43-year-old broke down crying and made eyebrows raise while discussing several topics including abortion and slavery. Now, fans are trolling his wife, Kim Kardashian, begging her to get him “the help he needs.”
Kanye West announced his first rally for his 2020 presidential campaign on Saturday, July 18, but no one could have guessed it would go the way it did.
Wearing a bulletproof vest reading “security” and 2020 shaved into his hairline, the rapper spoke out to a crowd full of people at the Exquis Event Center on Sunday, July 19. He immediately dominated headlines after claiming Harriet Tubman “never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people,” with many taking to social media to blast the star for spreading “lies,” including activist Shaun King. But when he broke down and admitted he “almost killed” his firstborn daughter, fans really lost it.
Kanye West began talking about his anti-abortion stance, revealing that he and Kim Kardashian discussed not going through with her first pregnancy. Telling the crowd that the “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” star called him “screaming and crying” with the baby news, he said, “for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand.” Kanye West said he had a come to God moment and told Kim Kardashian, “We’re gonna have this child.” That child would later be their firstborn, North West, who is now seven.
Fans immediately took to social media questioning the rapper’s mental health and slamming Kim Kardashian, accusing her of sitting back and not doing anything to help her husband. But they didn’t just take aim at Kim, they came for the whole KarJenner family.
“@KimKardashian he’s screaming for help!!! Why is not one in your family or his family seen it!! Omg! Mental health is real!” one person wrote on Twitter. “This is truly disturbing.
help your man. Something is WRONG,” added another. “@KrisJenner @KimKardashian @kanyewest SOMEONE COME GET KANYE AND TAKE HIM HOME,” a third person wrote. “Kim please get your hubby
some meds and get him all the way together. Forget the skims and whatever else you have going, go help him with his mental state. This ain’t no joke. His South Carolina rally was clear than night & day that he needs his meds. People walked out,” someone else instructed her.
At the time of this post, Kim Kardashian has not responded to Kanye’s claims or the haters.
