Brittany Mahomes is opening up about motherhood!
The hardworking businesswoman is a devoted mother to two adorable youngsters, Sterling and Bronze, whom she shares with NFL star Patrick Mahomes. And since the birth of her second child on November 28, 2022, she now has her hands full which she tells fans in a candid social media revelation.
Brittany Mahomes Shares Experience With Screaming And Sleeplessness
Marking the "first day of chaos" as a mom-of-two, Brittany could not help but explain her ordeal to her followers, who offered advice on managing the situation. As seen on Twitter, she lamented, writing:
"Today is my first day of chaos since having 2 kids [rolling on the floor laughing and mind blown emojis] both screaming, both not wanting to nap [smiley emoji]."
The tweet gained over three thousand likes, with several commenting to cheer her up and encourage her to enjoy the cherishable moments. Revealing more about the "chaos," the former soccer player shared a short video on her Instagram Story featuring herself and her daughter in a kitchen.
The little one, whose outfit was soiled, was placed on the counter and about to touch the device, capturing the moment while her mother made funny faces in the background.
While Brittany seems to be having a tough time with her two tots, she was super delighted after the delivery, which she announced on Instagram with a cute picture. She and her husband, Patrick, posted a snap of their newborn son wearing a onesie and on a blanket that read, "Mahomes." A silver chain could also be seen with the name "Bronze" etched on the covering.
The sweethearts shared more details in the caption about the boy's birth, including his name, date of birth, and weight. "Mahomes' Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III," they wrote, "11/28.22 7lbs 8oz."
Shortly before revealing the fantastic news, Brittany was seen supporting Patrick at a game involving his team, the Kansas City Chiefs playing against the Los Angeles Rams; the former won the game.
Not only was the excited ex-sportswoman there to cheer her partner, but their daughter was also present and was not in the mood to take pictures. The Instagram post implied so, as it was captioned, "Sterling said no photos today, but she's still cute, #gochiefs."
Earlier in May, the parents of two announced on Instagram that they were expecting their second child. The post, captioned "Round 2," featured pictures of the couple with their daughter and an ultrasound image. At the same time, Sterling showed anticipation for her "big sister duties" as she could be seen holding a poster expressing so.
Later in June, Brittany and Patrick divulged their then-unborn child's gender via a gender reveal video of them shooting blue water from squirt guns. The year had been filled with enviable celebrations for the family as the married pair tied the knot on March 12, 2022, in Hawaii, and two months after came their second pregnancy.
Additionally, on social media, baby Sterling marked her first birthday in February with her mom gushing, "My Ster Girl is ONE! I can't believe it. YOU, my sweet girl, deserve the world!!!" She added:
"Your Daddy & I love you more & more every day; we can not wait to see where this life takes you & all the things you will conquer."
The UMF Afturelding Ex-athlete Shows Difference In Baby Bumps Sizes Ahead Of Second Birth
Before the birth of baby Bronze, Brittany compared both pregnancies using a collage of two pictures of her pregnant self on her Instagram Story. The first photo was a more recent one, showing her wearing an orange sports bra and leggings while standing sideways to take a mirror selfie.
In the next snap, it was an older one of her pregnant with her first child and donning a lilac hoodie, held up to showcase a smaller bump than in the first picture.
"Baby boy" was written on the first image, while the second had "Baby Girl." Furthermore, the second snap made the differences in her babies' sizes crystal clear as the then-pregnant mama penned, "Not even close."
Despite the size, she ensured to tribute Sterling as the bigger sister ahead of Bronze's birth with an appreciation message in the last weeks of her being the only child.
