Larsa Pippen Faces Backlash Over Butterfly Bikini Photo With 12-Year-Old Daughter

Larsa Pippen took less than an hour to rake in the negative comments on Saturday. The 46-year-old reality star and ex to NBA icon Scottie Pippen posted a sweet twinning photo with 12-year-old daughter Sophia – for some, however, the adorable pink bikini twin-off proved inappropriate for seeing a pre-teen in skimpy swimwear and plastered all over social media.
Larsa, followed by 1.9 million, is no stranger to backlash when it comes to those bikini snaps. The star has been cruelly dubbed a "narcissist" for her own carousel of swimwear shots. Today brought her daughter into the storm.

Larsa's photo showed her home and with one of the four children she shares with ex-husband and former Chicago Bulls player Scottie. Mom and daughter were seen posing in matching, butterfly-print bikinis – Larsa, who regularly jokes about her kids having inherited their dad's height, was near-dwarfed by her daughter. The former "Real Housewives of Miami" star wore a cute wraparound miniskirt matching her swimwear. Much like daughter Sophia, the Pretty Little Thing influencer also wore shades.

Larsa may have snagged herself over 5,000 likes in under 30 minutes for the shot, but not all of her followers appeared to receive it well.
"She is only 12," one fan wrote, with another saying: "How u let a child dress like that?" A fan appearing to offer a more balanced view replied:
"Honestly, it's totally fine but too many creeps on social media." Yet another user appearing to find the update inappropriate wrote: "Cover up your baby girl." More after the jump.

Sophia is fast racking up the Instagram followers, despite only being 12. While the social media platform requires a minimum 13 years to have an account, Sophia's page is managed by her mother. The pre-teen has 144,000 followers.
It wasn't all one-way, though. Larsa caught a like from "Basketball Wives LA" alum Draya Michele, plus plenty of fan love. "Stunning!! ??" one fan wrote, with the Larsa Pippen Fitness founder also being told: "Like mother, like daughter." "Twins. "She’s going to be so tall. Long legs," a user added.
The updates have been body goals from Larsa of late – with fans telling her she looks 21. Scroll for that rolled-down shorts photo.

Larsa kicked off her Larsa Pippen Fitness plans in May. The friend to Kim Kardashian, seemingly unfollowed by 41-year-old sister Kourtney Kardashian recently, has also been sharing the secrets behind her killer workout body. Earlier this month, Larsa posted a bikini selfie showing rock-hard abs and built glutes. She captioned the post:
"My morning workout today 20 laps in the pool."
Larsa filed for divorce in 2018, with her 20+ year marriage to Scottie trending in April and May as "The Last Dance" aired on ESPN. Larsa took to social media to defend Scottie's $109 million+ career earnings, also slamming allegations that she'd had an affair with rapper Future.
