Ellen DeGeneres Is 'Heartbroken' About tWitch's Passing

Allen opened up about how tWitch took the time to encourage the audience to find their show after every show and then made a big vow to his late friend. Following the news of his devastating passing, his former boss, Ellen, released a moving statement on social media that read, "I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia."

As reported, tWitch's widow Allison Holker was the first to learn of his death after she frantically ran into an LAPD station on Tuesday after finding out her husband left the home without his vehicle — something that he never did.

Shortly after, police responded to a call at an L.A. hotel, where they found the late dancer dead from a self-inflicted gunshot.

RIP.
