Tia Mowry On Better Track After 'Plot Twist' Divorce From Cory Hardrict

Tamera Mowry reveals that her sister Tia Mowry is handling her divorce from Cory Hardrict with “grace”.

The actress told Us Weekly, “You have your ups [and] you have your downs, but she’s allowing her experience to change her. I feel [like she has changed] for the better,” she noticed. The 44-year-old went on to share the inspiring words she tells to Tia.

“Things are not always gonna go as planned or we’re gonna have some plot twists. You [have to] learn from it, grow from it, and do it with love. I feel like that is what she’s doing.”

While Tia’s divorce comes as a shock to herself and her fans she was real enough to share some details about what is going on in her personal life.

Tia posted a candid message to her followers in October:

“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”

Mowry and Hardrict had been married for 14 years and shared two children; Cree, 11, and Cairo, 4. She went on to say, “These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. The couple is now focused on co-parenting their children.

The former couple have zero intentions of not speaking to one another again, they have to for the sake of their children, and Mowry maintains there is no ill will between the two. “I talk to [Cory] every single day. We tell each other [that] we love each other every single day. He is family, and he will always be family and a part of our lives forever,” she commented to Us Weekly.

The Sister, Sister alum believes that “Family is family no matter what happens, and that’s what’s important to me.” She was spotted by TMZ and asked what her holiday plans were now that she is a single woman, she said the “whole family” will be together. “We will always be family.”

The couple’s love story has many wondering if they will make it to the end of the divorce or get back together. Hardrict and Mowry met while studying and officially tied the knot in 2008. After they announced their divorce, clips surfaced of Hardrict reprimanding the actress in public during interviews.

It came off as talking down to a 90s favorite. That being said, followers are upset for Tia has to go through a divorce, but after seeing that clip, they can see why she bounced! Some even took to social media to slam Hardrict as “holding” Tia down and not “uplifting our queen”.

Yikes.
