Actor Joey Lawrence has slapped his wife Chandie with divorce papers after 15 years together.

According to court records obtained by The Blast, Joey filed a petition to dissolve his marriage to Chandie in Los Angeles Superior Court. Joey cited irreconcilable differences in the petition.

Joey met his second wife Chandie while on vacation in Disney World. The two originally met when they were only teenagers. They were married in July 2005 and share two children together. It is unclear if the two signed a prenuptial agreement before the marriage.

As The Blast first reported, back in 2017, the actor and his wife filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, revealing their expenses were leaving them $18,000 a month in the red.

Joey listed assets totaling $43,907.32 and liabilities in the amount of $355,517.27. His debts include $88,000 in back taxes, $132,000 in credit card bills, $32,000 for an unpaid loan, nearly $100,000 owed for automobiles and $54,000 in unpaid rent.

Among the assets included: $4,200 in household goods, $650 worth of holiday decorations/family artifacts and a hope chest, $1,485 in electronics, $3,500 in clothes, $350 in workout equipment, $2,500 for a men’s 1981 Rolex watch, woman’s watch and wedding ring bands and other jewelry.

Joey’s monthly expenses totaled $25,505.35 leaving him in the red every month $18,539.35 In the docs, the actor said he only had $60 dollars in cash and $8,000 in the bank.

In April 2018, the bankruptcy case was settled with many of the couple’s creditors being shafted. Court docs revealed the trustee was able to collect $75,636.22 to pay back his many creditors. After some legal fees and other payments came off the top, $52,547.88 was left over to be paid out to those owed money.

The actor as previously been married to his first wife, Michelle Vella, who he divorced in 2002.
