Halle Berry Proves A Bikini Can 'ABSOLUTELY Be A Top' With Golden Girl Assets In Surprise Throwback

Halle Berry just knocked Instagram dead and cheered it up at the same time. Hollywood's Golden Girl may be 53 and still knocking the ball out the park, but a blazing-hot throwback doesn't go amiss on Halle's Instagram, followed by 6.2 million. The "Catwoman" star's Tuesday update came dedicated to the year 2000, her "X-Men" role, and a humorous caption confirming that rocking up to a premiere in a bikini was never unacceptable.

Halle dug back 20 years for this update. The actress and Re-Spin founder had grabbed a photo of herself from the red carpet posing ops at the 2000 "X-Men" premiere, with the look definitely going down the bikini route. Halle was flaunting her washboard abs and killer cleavage in a tiny patterned string bikini with jewel-encrusted ties, plus a belly chain and matching pants.

A caption from the Oscar winner read: "Since you asked - a bikini can ABSOLUTELY be a top if it’s bedazzled, OK?? ? #Throwback #2000 #PremiereNight #XMen20thAnniversary."

Instagram was absolutely loving it. The platform threw Halle over 136,000 likes in two hours, also flooding the comments section.

Halle, who completed three years worth of martial arts in just six months for "John Wick: Parabellum" is set to return for even more action in upcoming MMA movie "Bruised." The star's Instagram has been documenting her training for the movie, with a recent sweat-drenched peel-off of Halle's waist-slimmer revealing her rock-hard abs. The video is below.

Halle admitted that she threw the "kitchen sink" at her core prepping for "Bruised." The star has spent much of 2020 opening up to Women's Health on both her nutrition and her fitness. More after the video.

Halle opened up about the grueling workouts, saying:

"I had to look (and perform) like a professional MMA fighter, so, in addition to practicing MMA for four hours every day."

She added: "I was also doing about 45 minutes of general strength training and 15 minutes of work just on my abs. We threw the kitchen sink at my core and, let me tell you, it took serious dedication."

Halle trains with personal trainer and "spirit animal" Peter Lee Thomas, having appeared forced to deny dating rumors earlier this year.
