‘Modern Family’ star Jesse Tyler Ferguson just BLASTED an online hater who made fun of his new son’s name on Instagram, and his clap back to the person’s hateful message is amazing!
It all went down on Instagram after Jesse and husband Justin Mikita announced the birth of their new baby boy, Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita.
People Magazine shared a photo of the couple with the caption, “Jesse Tyler Ferguson is a dad! ? The actor and his husband Justin Mikita have welcomed a “little bundle of joy” — Beckett Mercer Ferguson-Mikita. “The new parents are overjoyed and excited for this new journey as a family of three.”
But, a troll jumped into the comments and wrote, “What a stupid name seriously lol.”
The ‘Modern Family’ star happened to stumble across the nasty comment so he decided to clap back.
“If we can just all get along as one nation” — you four Instagram posts ago. Sending love to you sir from us and Beckett,” he responded to the person.
Shockingly, on the trolls Instagram page, he had posted a photo of former President Georg H.W. Bush posting with former first lady Michelle Obama, and Melania Trump with the caption, “If we could all just get along together as one nation. ❤️????????.”
Jesse not only commented on People’s post, he also went to the trolls post and said, “Remember when you told me my son had a stupid name? Lol. I guess this Sentiment faded fast. Sending love from me Justin and Beckett.”
Jesse welcomed his new son on July 7, 2020, and husband Justin posted an onesie from Las Vegas where the baby was born on Instagram, with the caption, “It’s Beckett, Bitch!”
He continued, “Thanks to the incredible team at Summerlin hospital – especially Collette. Thanks for taking care of us. Welcome to the world, Beckett Mercer. We love you more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. Thanks for all the messages and congratulations. We are over the moon. ?? ❤️.”
Earlier this year, the ‘Modern Family star announced he and Justin Ferguson were expecting a baby during an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show.’
At the time, the actor told host James Corden and fellow guest Charlie Hunnam, “This is something I haven’t even mentioned to anyone if we could just keep it between the three of us and you all, but I’m actually expecting a baby in July with my husband.”
In February, the couple celebrated having Beckett on the way, by throwing a lavish baby shower which included a performance by the ‘Aquawillies’ — a group of male synchronized swimmers.
