Offset is gradually making it back to the stage weeks after the shooting and death of the former Migos member, Takeoff.

Since the pair shared a bond beyond music thanks to their relationship as cousins, fans expected the rapper to take a more extended break from public appearances. However, he has opted to return to concert performances where he honors his late cousin before starting his set.

In case you missed it, Takeoff was fatally shot at a casino after he attended a private party in Houston, Texas. Even though the news of his death shook the world, it was especially painful to his Migos partners, Offset and Quavo — who is yet to make a social media post since the November 11 funeral.

As for Offset, the "MotorSport" rapper has taken to sharing the occasional insight into his sadness and memories with fans on social media. In fact, the father-of-five tweeted that he was in a "dark place" on December 8 and asked fans to only talk about his cousin in a "good light" a few days later.

Now, the 30-year-old has dropped an Instagram video that showed a DJ playing a slow version of the Jackson 5's "Never Can Say Goodbye" with a blown-out image of Takeoff behind his booth.

The rapper is seen stepping out from the shadows to stand in front of the pic, immediately raising his hands and singing along. He wrote, "Before every show I love you bra," underneath the post.

"Praying for you bro everyday.... So sorry this all happened I'm so sorry," Tyrese commented. One fan added, "I feel sorry for offset I can tell this sh*t hurt him deep! Keep Take name alive ik he feeling the [love emoji]."

Another fan noted, "God I'm still feeling his loss like I knew him. I'm so sorry," and a third claimed, "I can really tell this is hitting offset hard, ROCKET MAN ALWAYS AND WILL FOREVER LOVE YOU SET [love and praying hands emojis]. We will keep his name alive until it's no tomorrow [praying hands emojis]."

A fourth fan dropped multiple rocket emojis before advising Offset to "continue to make him proud into the next life."

The "Clout" hitmaker's fans have been rallying around him since Takeoff's death, which occurred on November 1. The Blast shared that his December 8 tweet triggered a barrage of comments, with one person writing, "Sending you our love, and prayers – for you and your family, dear Brother."

A second Twitter user encouragingly replied, "You got this offset. Takeoff booming in the sky, waiting for you guys to drop some bangers and making sure you guys keep his legacy alive… in your hearts and mind….and let his voice speak through the word of your music!!!"

Others prayed for him to find the light and the peace he needed at such a time. The tweet has received well over a hundred thousand likes and 11,000 retweets since it went live.

Late last month, The Blast observed that Offset took to his Instagram to share a photo of Takeoff, penning a concise message under it. In the pic, the late "Walk It Talk It" rapper wore a custom-made light blue jacket with quilted-style belts and square buckles on both sides.

The eye-catching jacket was layered over a colorful print t-shirt and a pair of glittering diamond necklaces. Takeoff added a pair of fancy dark shades with his signature big, long braids framing his face. The late rapper subtly smiled as he stared straight at the camera.

Offset wrote a message to him, noting, "Missing everything bout you specially that smile." The "Get Right Witcha" rapper's post immediately got people's attention, garnering over two million likes from his worldwide followers. Many dropped encouraging words and a string of heartbroken emojis in the comment section.

He then proceeded to his Story to upload a full-squad snap of himself, Takeoff, and Quavo, at what appeared to be at an event. The late 28-year-old was seated in between the remaining two, who took their places and stood at his sides.
