Jada Pinkett-Smith has just admitted to her romantic relationship with musician August Alsina but says her and husband Will Smith were separated at the time.
The 'Red Table Talk' host appeared on her show with husband Will Smith and directly addressed the accusations made by Alsina, that he was in a physical relationship with Jada while she was still married to Will.
As we reported, Alsina said in a recent interview that he began dating Pinkett after he was told her marriage to Will Smith was now as 'life partners' and no longer romantic. He instituted at the time, he got 'permission' from the 'Bad Boys' star himself to date his wife.
Jada admitted on her Facebook show, she and Will were going through a rough patch, and Will agreed by saying, "I was done with you." He explained during the separation they would both try and go out and find what makes themselves 'happy.'
At first, the couple says August Alsina came into their lives and he was 'very sick' and his health is something their family bonded with him over.
But, Jada admitted, "From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August."
Pinkett Smith addressed Alsina's comments about getting 'permission' from Will to pursue his wife, saying "the only person who could give permission in that particular circumstance is myself."

She clarified, "What August was trying to communicate ... I think he wanted to make it clear he's not a homewrecker."
Interestingly, Will Smith questioned his wife during the filming to answer "clearly what happened" between her and August.
She responded, "I got into an entanglement with August."
She continued, "A relationship, it was a relationship, absolutely. I was in a lot of pain, I was broken and in the process of that relationship, I definitely realized that you can't find happiness outside of yourself. And luckily enough, you and I were also going through a process of healing in a much different manner."
At the time, Jada said "It had been so long since I felt good," adding that it was also a "joy to help heal somebody," referring to her relationship with Alsina.

After Will Smith joked about this broadcast being him listening to her explained her 'transgressions' to the world. Jada, corrected him saying she doesn't look at it as a transgression "at all."
Jada claimed she cut off all communication with Alsina at some point, and "I let that be and hadn't talked to him since," Adding, "Aug and I haven't talked in so long, so this all seemed very strange."
She continued, "So it is a little weird all this stuff is coming out now since this was several [years ago]."

Will agreed, saying, "Our experiences of working through it, fighting through it, talking through it, and therapizing through it, I think the why now is weird."
As for the alleged cheating situation, both agreed they do NOT keep secrets from one another.
"We have really got to that new place of unconditional love," Jada said about the current state of their marriage.
"You gotta go through some s--- to get the answers, I definitely believe you and I, we never thought we would make it back."
